Chapter 4 - Part 3 - Daily Life

We had all headed back to the cafe. Nobody was talking to eachother. Pearl had her arm around me like before and Amy was whispering stuff to Jeremy. Olivia was at alone and Vincent, Lewis and Jamie sat awkwardly together. 

Then, Amy stood up onto to cafe counter "Everyone!" she cheered "I have a very special announcement!" She swirled around and waited for us all to look. She then gave an almost sly smile and said

 "I, Amy Shores, have been given a little something known as...

Mastermind Privileges."

There was a silence. I couldn't tell if it was shock or confusion. Olivia then sighed and stood up "Mastermind Privileges means that she owns a special key which let's her into forbidden rooms, such as the kitchen or the camera room." 

So she did have access to the kitchen...

 "Yup! And I get to see the mastermind whenever I want!" She said, smiling. Suddenly, Mono-Lisa appeared. "You weren't supposed to tell them you damn idiot." She yelled. Amy gave a pretend yawn "Oh... Woops. It's not like it matters. I mean, as long as I don't tell them who the masterminds are I can do whatever I want with my new privileges!" She looked genuinely happy about it. It felt eerie. 

 Amy continued "Anyway, back to my point: I'm gonna put these privileges to good use by hosting aaaa, drum role please!" Jeremy did a mini drum role. "Big big dinner party!" 

I liked the sound of it. It seemed like a good boost. We had to pull in this big table from the storage room while the mastermind was apparently getting the food. And as expected, Jamie questioned this. "What if the food is poisoned? Can we really trust that this'll be a good idea?" He said, looking at Amy. Amy didn't reply, but Olivia did "The Mastermind isn't a demon. They have morals." Jamie simply rolled his eyes at this "Then why don't they just let us out?!" He yelled. Olivia groaned "Quit yelling! They can't just do whatever they want. They have limits. The AI makes-" she suddenly stopped

 "...I've said too much." She muttered, stepping away from us all. Then she ran. "Matey!" Pearl called after her, but Olivia kept running. 

I sighed. It was going to be a long dinner.
