Three years have passed since the Battle of Naboo, and it has now become part of the Galactic Republic. With the new MILITARY CREATION ACT proposed by CHANCELLOR PALPATINE, QUEEN PADME AMIDALA now feels that her world can be protected.
In turn, a CONFEDERACY OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS has been forming. A conglomerate of worlds from both in and out of Republic space that do not wish to become a part of it. Claiming that not only the Senate itself is corrupt, but that some of their cultural values are being threatened. And they have their own militaries to defend leaving the worlds with weaker defense forces to give the majority vote Palpatine's bill needed to pass.
Jedi Master, DOOKU, has been sent to negotiate terms with them but has become so sympathetic to their cause that he turns his back on the Republic, and now rules the CIS as Count. With only a few Jedi to defend it, the Republic now desperately needs an army. But amongst this political turmoil, Padawan ANAKIN SKYWALKER, returns to his home world of TATOOINE to reunite with loved ones...
