And now they're in hot pursuit. They zoom past towering skyscrapers, shimmy through traffic, until finally they're right behind their target. Obi-Wan then reaches out with the force to place one of the senators in the back seat of their craft. Before he can do it again, the taxi turns right. So do the Jedi. And then Obi-Wan uses the force to put another passenger in their back seat. Anakin asks what to do now since there's no more room. Obi-Wan starts thinking until Anakin says, "Never mind. Take the control!" Obi-Wan then yells after him if he's insane just as soon as Anakin jumps towards the taxi with the kidnapper and the last senator on board. Anakin uses the force to hastily push the senator out of the craft while Obi-Wan uses one hand to catch him with the force and put the senator in the shotgun seat. The assailant opens fire but Anakin ignites his lightsaber in the nick of time and somehow deflected a laser blast toward the taxi controls. The craft careens out of control and lands at another street some distance below. Both Anakin and the criminal survive as Obi-Wan lands his speeder with the senators a little ways away.
Obi-Wan then calls the chancellor that they rescued the kidnapped senators and where they are. Palpatine says he'll send a recovery team immediately. Anakin comes to and sees the kidnapper run off into an alley. Anakin gives pursuit with Obi-Wan in tow.
