The Republic soldiers fight with better tactics than they do in the movie (i.e some soldiers actually taking cover once in a while and not continuing to shoot when there's a cloud of dust by a destroyed core ship). The battle rages on as some separatist transports attempt to escape. Yoda commands Republic ground forces from a command post (again, like the actual movie). Mandalore the Invincible can be seen flying around the battlefield on his custom Basilisk war droid. Meanwhile, Anakin and Obi-Wan's gunship fly back around to the Spire fortress with Mace Windu and some clones not far behind. Their plan is to capture any of the separatist leaders if they can.
