A/N: I went a a bit off track with this one too, but I really wanted a moment between Kitty and Emily and the frenemies episode just seemed like the perfect time, so I hope you don't mind!

After Tina's and Artie's heartfelt performance of Whenever I call you friend which had all the New Directions joining in and having fun along with them, they all clapped and cheered for them, until Becky Jackson appeared by the door, unamused as ever as she glared at the glee kids she hated so much.

"Ugh! Close the door when you sing crap like that." She complained, causing Emily to raise an eyebrow at the girl.

"Hey, Becky, can we help you with something?" Jake asked her as she glared at him.

"Yeah, quit staring at my boobs." She yelled, as Jake shook his head. Turning to the rest of the kids, Becky continued. "Tina, Artie... Principal Sylvester wants to see you in her office."

After exchanging a glance, the two kids then followed Becky out. Awkwardly standing in the choir room, the rest of them exchanged glances with each other, debating on what to do. It wasn't until Unique decided she was heading out that everyone else started to scur away as well. Emily was just about to reach the door when the so familiar tone of Kitty Wilde's voice reached her ears, causing her to stop walking and turning around.

"Hold it right there, Pygmy Puff, I need a word with you." She said, walking up to Emily with a deep frown, before turning to Sam who was still standing beside his girlfriend and snapping her fingers at his face. "You, get lost, big lips. This is between me and the dwarf mammoth over here."

Sam turned to look at Emily then, and after rolling her eyes at Kitty, she turned to her boyfriend with a nod, to let him know it was alright for him to leave. Looking one last time to Emily and Kitty as they stood face to face in the middle of the choir room, he decided to let them both solve whatever fight they were having by themselves, walking out of the room but staying close by, just in case he ever needed to intervene. As soon as her boyfriend was out of sight, Emily fixed her books in her arms and turned to look at Kitty with a rather bored expression.

"What is it that you want, Katherine?" The older girl sighed as she walked toward the piano to lean against it, smirking at the glare she received from Kitty, fully aware of how much she hated to be called anything that wasn't Kitty. "I see we're back at square one with you insulting me for no reason. I thought we were friends."

"Yeah? Well, so did I."

"What are you talking about?" Emily frowned, confused as Kitty scoffed loudly at that, rolling her eyes.

"Don't play dumb on me, Marshall. You know damn well what I'm talking about." She said, groaning when Emily stayed quiet for a second or two, clearly lost. "You didn't appoint me for captain of the Cheerios next year like you said you would!"

"What are you talking about?" Emily asked again, slightly louder this time. "Of course I did!"

"No, you didn't." Kitty argued. "Coach Washington told me that the name you gave her was Bree's, not mine."

"What?" Emily scoffed then, clearly offended. "First of all, I told you I was going to appoint you as captain next year when I'm gone and I did. Second of all, the mere thought that you would actually believe I would appoint Bree for the position over you is insane. You're smarter than that, Wilde. I mean, it took me two whole weeks to go against Sue and coach Washington to take Bree out of the co-captain position. Why would I ever even think about putting her back there? She did nothing but terrorize the squad while in the position."

"Then how come coach Washington told me that the envelope you gave her with the name for your suggestion for next year's captain had Bree's name in it and not mine?"
