Rachel frowned when Sam refused the spring rolls from the Chinese restaurant down the street.

"You love the spring rolls..." She said.

"Oh, no, huge audition this week for Treasure Trailz." He explained, as Rachel smiled a bit. "They're kind of, like, on the forefront of the manscaping movement. I mean, they're going all out: billboards, print, bus ads. My dream of being almost naked on a public bus is this close to coming true."

"See? This is exactly what my show needs to be about." Rachel smiled as she moved back toward the dining table to place the plate of pancakes down. "Old friends struggling to make it in this world."

"Is it normal for a network to send a writer to hang out with the star to figure out the show?" Artie asked.

"Only when their star's incredibly interesting." Rachel smirked as everyone rolled their eyes, amused. "Mary Halloran is a genius. She sold her first script when she was 14 years old."

"Yeah, I just don't like the idea of someone crashing Monday night dinner." Kurt said.

"No, but the point is for her to really see my life and understand my essence, and you guys are so much about besides my work, my talent and my ambition, so..."

Rachel stopped talking when there was a knock to the door and squealed as she moved to pull it open.

"Oh, here she is." She said, before turning back around to look at her friends as they all gathered behind her to see with their own eyes who that prodigy writer was, really. "Okay, you guys, be really nice, 'cause I don't want her to feel alienated."

"We got to figure out a way to invite Mary to our showcase." Kurt whispered over at Blaine as Rachel fixed her hair a bit. "I mean, Rachel shouldn't be the only one with a chance for small-screen stardom."

"Oh. Totally." Blaine sighed fully aware that the showcase wasn't theirs, but unable to tell Kurt. Thankfully, he didn't have to think about it too much, because, soon enough, Rachel was pulling the door open to reveal no one other than Brittany S. Pierce herself.

"Oh, my God!" Rachel gasped, as Brittany smiled at them. "Brittany, what's happening!"

"What up, bitches?" She smiled as everyone gasped upon seeing her there.

"Hey!" Mercedes smiled. "Brittany, I thought that you were on Lesbian Island."

"No..." Brittany shrugged as she stepped into the apartment. "I lost my passport and I was trapped in the airport, like Tom Hanks in that movie."

"Castaway?" Sam asked.

"Big?" Artie offered.

"The Money Pit?" Blaine asked.

"Hum, no, it was Castaway." Brittany said, surprised at the amount of suggestions she got, only to have Sam cheer quietly for his correct answer. "So, where's Santana?"

"Oh, hum, she's shooting a Yeast-I-Stat commercial in Iowa for a week." Mercedes answered. "Apparently, they had the best wheat fields to slow-motion-run through. She didn't call and tell you?"

"No. I gave up my cell phone after Kiki and I broke up." Brittany shrugged. "The pain was too great."

Before anyone could say anything else, however, a new person stood at the door, looking in with a frown on her face from behind her very colored glasses.

"Hello?" She called as everyone turned to look at her, slightly confused. "Hello? I'm Mary Halloran."

"Yes." Rachel smiled as she turned to the young girl.
