Two weeks. Two weeks until I'm a married man. Two weeks until I get to call my best friend my husband. "Louis, I'm leaving! Have a great night and I'll see you later!" Harry called, closing the door as he left. We had decided that we'd have separate stag dos to begin with and then meet up at the club later on. He was going go-karting with Liam, Niall and some of his other friends and I was going to play laser tag with Zayn and some of my other friends. A few minutes after he left, I heard Zayn beeping the horn outside, so I rushed out to his car and got in. He had already picked up the other guys, so we headed straight for the laser tag building. When we got there, we listened whilst the woman explained the rules before getting our equipment and entering the zone. It was so dark, and we each went in different directions. When the alarm started to blare through the speakers, we ran around, shooting each other with our laser guns. Shots could be heard all around me as I made my way through the darkened rooms, hiding behind obstacles and jumping out to shoot the other players. After the first round, we went back into the reception area to check our scores. Zayn was in the lead, followed by Charlie, me, Noah and Stan.
"Ready for round two?" the woman called, opening the door for us again. We went back in, finding a new starting position and waiting for the alarm.
"Louis? Is that you?" Zayn whispered, coming up behind me.
"Yeah, what's the matter?" I whispered back, squinting my eyes to make out his outline.
"Do you want to team up? May be more fun!" I agreed, and we worked out our tactics. When we heard the alarm, we put our plan into action, working together to attack the others. Thirty minutes later and the lights came on, signalling that our time was up.
"That was so much fun!" I exclaimed, taking off the gear and waiting for the scoreboard to be revealed.
"Felt like we were children again!" Stan replied, punching my arm slightly. Stan had been my best friend since we were kids, and we used to run through the streets pretending to shoot each other a lot as we grew up. When the scoreboard finally flashed up on the screen, Zayn and I cheered, earning some groans from the others. "Why are you so happy, you came second?" Stan asked, looking at me in confusion.
"Zayn and I teamed up so we could beat you all, so even though I came second, we technically both won," I laughed, high-fiving Zayn as the others groaned at us. We left the building, and I grabbed my phone to text Harry that we were on our way to the club. 'On our way now, probably be about twenty minutes x' I text, and a few minutes later he responded. 'Okay, we're already here, see you soon x'. As soon as we arrived, we made our way into the club, finding the table that we had reserved. Harry was sat waiting for us, his friends dotted around the already crowded room.
"How was go-karting?" I asked, taking a sip from the vodka red bull that he had ordered for me.
"It was good, Liam won, I was second, Niall was third. You?"
"Zayn and I ended up joining together, so we won easily," I laughed, earning a glare from Stan. He was such a sore loser. As the hours went on, Harry and I drank more alcohol and danced the night away.
"Just going to the loo!" Harry shouted over the loud music, and I nodded as he walked away. After a few songs, I made my way to the bar where Liam and Niall were already stood.
"Having a good time?" Liam asked, propping himself up on a stool.
"I am, thank you so much for helping to organise it!"
"It was mainly Zayn's ideas, I just helped put it together. Where's Harry?" he asked, noticing that he wasn't with me.
"He went to the loo, but that was a while ago actually," I said, trying to scan the room to find him.
