Chapter 3

Bella's POV

I couldn't sleep that night, my mind was racing of thoughts of the blonde vampire I had seen in the meadow, who was she? Why did I feel drawn to her? What did this mean? Before seeing her all I could think about was...Edward...but now it didn't even hurt to think about him. I felt absolutely nothing for him. But when I thought of the female vampire my heart clenched...I needed to see her again...but how?

I don't remember falling asleep, I suppose I must have at some point, because when I looked out of my window I saw the grey sky of early morning. I quickly got dressed and went downstairs, finding the house empty. Charlie must have gone fishing again, that meant the house to myself until tomorrow night.

I sighed I had no idea what to do today, so I decided to take a chance and go back to the meadow, maybe the mystery vampire would be there.

I quickly locked the door and clumsily made my way to the meadow...I looked around and there she was in her beauty....

Kate POV

It was now morning, and I was pacing back and forth, my sisters Tanya and Irina both watching me. Eventually Tanya stood up standing in front of me, halting my movements. "Why don't you try talk to her?" I rolled my eyes "One, I don't know where she'll be and 2 I don't know if she's still hung up on dickward" This time it was Tanya who rolled her eyes. "Well she probably ended up going back to where we saved her from, for some reason human's seem to go back to the places they nearly died in...I'll never understand them.

I smiled at Tanya and Irina before running off into the woods, to the place I saved my mate, in hopes she would be there.

I stopped abruptly...there she was....her beautiful brown eyes boring into my golden ones. I took a hesitant step forward, with her mirroring me, for what felt like forever we were finally face to face. we both spoke at the same time.
