Bella and Kate mates <3

Chapter 12

Bella POV

It was the day of the funeral, I'm not entirely sure how I felt...if I had to describe it I'd say I felt numb...I didn't know how it would be seeing my mom again, the last time I saw her I was getting on a plane to come to Forks...I was so lost in thought, I didn't even know Kate was behind me until I felt her wrap her arms around me. I leant back into her embrace and sighed...I wish we could just stay like this and shut out the world.

"You okay Bella?" Kate nuzzled my neck. "Just nervous about the funeral..." Kate turned me gently in her arms so that I was facing her and smiled. "You'll be okay Bella, we'll all be with you...and if it gets too much and you want to leave we can"

I nodded, took hold of Kate's hand and walked down stairs. The family were all down stairs waiting for us both, all dressed in black, all looking beautiful. I smiled weakly at them. Alice gently hugged me. "Do you want something to eat before we leave?" I shook my head no, I couldn't eat anything. I felt physically sick.

Everyone looked worried, but didn't push it, we silently left the house and made our way to the church. There were a lot of people at the church...Charlie had a good send off...he'd have been happy about that. Everyone stared as we made our way to the church...probably didn't help that there was a bunch of vampires with me...they were hypnotic.

I saw my mom, turned to Kate and the others, telling them to wait for me inside and I'd be in after seeing my mom. They all nodded and went inside.

My mom turned seeing me, I thought she would smile or open her arms for me but she didn't. When mom saw me, she scowled and stormed over to me.

"YOU...What the hell are you doing here?" I was so confused.

"I'm here for my dad's funeral mom"

"Don't you call me that, Charlie's dead because of YOU!"

I couldn't help but shout "HOW THE HELL IS IT MY FAULT!"

Mom shouted back "IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU BEING HERE HE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED"

There was a crowd forming and I could see Kate and the other's close by. I took a step closer to my mom. "IF IT'S ANYONE'S FAULT IT'S YOURS, I WOULDN'T BE HERE IF YOU HADN'T OF SENT ME HERE! I ONLT CAME HERE BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO GO AND SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FUCKING HUSBAND!"

We were both invading personal space. "DON'T YOU TALK TO ME THAT WAY, I AM YOUR MOTHER!"

I couldn't help but scoff, I went eerily quiet. "No, your not, you've never really been a mom to me...the only parent I had was Charlie and he's gone...his dead...and you know what? Your dead to me too...goodbye Renee" Before she could say anything else I walked away, Kate and the others following behind.

I couldn't stay here...Charlie deserved better...I'd say goodbye in my own way...not like this....
