Charlie's POV
I looked to the back door to see my moms walk in holding hands, I smiled and ran into their arms. I'm glad that they've made up...I didn't know what they were fighting about but I didn't like it. I'm happy we can all relax and not have to worry.
Though there is something that has been bothering me lately...and I know I probably shouldn't but I needed to ask.
I looked up at them both. "Moms?" They smiled at me. My blonde mother answering me, gently stroking my face. "What's up honey?" I sighed. "Who's Edward?"
Everybody stopped what they were doing, glancing at each other. I looked around at everybody. "What?" Mom sighed leading me to the couch to sit down...oh boy this couldn't be anything good...
"His your father Charlie" I stared at her my mouth hanging open...I felt Kate sit down on my other side and take my hand. I looked at her. "Why?" She looked confused. "Why what honey?" I shook my head. "Why raise me as your own...when I'm not yours?" She took my face gently in her hands. "Blood doesn't make a family Charlie...a family is the people who love you no matter what...and I love you and your mom so much...you may not biologically be mine...but you ARE my daughter" I smiled hugging them both.
I excused myself to my bedroom, saying I was tired, I could still hear them talking from downstairs, I didn't have perfect vampire hearing but it was better than a normal humans. I needed to find Edward...to talk to him...to find out why he and mom weren't together...did I do something wrong? Did he not want me? Was I not good enough?
