Bella and Kate mates <3

Chapter 18

Bella's POV

It had been 2 weeks since...the incident...I hadn't left the house since it happened...I stayed glued to Kate...I didn't want to be away from her...she was the only one that made me feel safe...I knew she hunted when I was asleep but other than that, she was with me it made me love her even more.

I was so angry with myself, I wanted nothing more than to be intimate with her, but every time I tried, I had flashbacks...Kate understood...but it didn't stop me being mad at myself...this was all his fault.

For the past 2 weeks, I've been feeling nauseous all the time. Carmen would cook me my favourite food but I couldn't eat, it had been a while since I've had any real food in my system...I could see Kate looking at me I knew she was worried.

Tanya walked in carrying a sandwich, I rolled my eyes, obviously that was for me. I looked to Kate again to see the concern grow. I felt terrible, so when Tanya offered me the sandwich I took it. I picked it up and took a bite, I saw the relief on everyone's face. By the time I was nearly done the wave of nausea hit. I put the plate down, clamped my hand over my mouth and ran to the bathroom. I got to the toilet just in time, as the contents of my stomach came rushing to the surface.

"Bella?" I didn't have to look up to know it was Kate. I looked up momentarily. "Don't come in here, you don't need to see this" Kate ignored me walking into the bathroom and sitting down next to me. I flushed the toilet, closed the lid and sat on top of it. "Hey Kate can you pass me my back please?" Kate got up and handed me my bag.

I took a look inside and froze, Kate was by my side in an instant. "Bella? What's wrong?" I looked up at her. "I'm late...my periods late..." I stood up and moved to the mirror, lifting my shirt up. I stood side ways and I could swear I saw a small, perfect little bump. I put my hands on my stomach and felt around, my abdomen felt hard, stone like.

I looked at Kate she seemed frozen. I turned to her and gasped, clutching my stomach. That got Kate's attention and she put her hand on my shoulder, before calling out "Tanya?! Get in here please!".

Tanya was in the room within a second of being called, looking at us both in concern. "I know this sounds crazy, but I think I'm pregnant." Tanya looked wary. Another gasp ripped through me as I clutched my stomach.

Tanya was by me instantly..."Kate, I need to get her checked...something's not right" Kate nodded and took me from the bathroom into Tanya's study. It was set up like a hospital room. Kate led me down on the bed and held my hand.

Everyone else soon came in the room wondering what was going on. Tanya got things ready for a sonogram. Everyone looked confused until they all realised why Tanya would have to perform one. I quietly rolled up my shirt. "This is going to be cold Bella?" I nodded not meeting anyone's eyes.

Tanya started the sonogram, frowning. I looked at her "What is it?" Tanya shook her head. "I'm not sure, I can't see anything, but you guys can hear that right?" Tanya obviously didn't mean me, I looked around seeing all the vampires nodding.

I looked to Kate and gave her hand a squeeze. "What is it?" Kate stroked my face gently. "It's a second heartbeat Bella...you're pregnant..."
