Chapter 39

Bella's POV

I walked out the front to see Kate talking to Leah and Charlie with her arms wrapped around Kate's waist. I smiled making my way over to them. Charlie smiled at me and wrapped her arms around me in a hug. She pulled back and placed her hand on my cheek. I put my hand on top of hers. I smiled as she pulled away. "Yeah, we're all gonna be together now" I looked over at Kate to see her smiling at me.

I was going to say something until Garrett walked up to Kate flinging his arm around her shoulder. Argh! I hate this fucking prick! I glared at him and walked off into the woods.

Kate's POV

I watched Bella walk away, I quickly shocked Garrett sending him to his knees in pain. Charlie looked on and laughed. I bent down to her level. "Hey Charlie can you go hang with aunt Tanya and Irina, while I go speak to mom please?" She nodded and ran off inside. I quickly took off into the woods after Bella.

I quickly tackled Bella to the floor, pinning her down, she looked up at me and huffed. "What the hell Kate?!" I smirked. "Well how else am I going to get you to talk to me?" Bella pushed me off and dusted off her clothes, she went to walk away again, before I grabbed her wrist, spinning her round to face me. "Bella please...we need to talk" Bella looked at me sadly. "Don't Kate..." I was confused. "Don't what?" Bella looked at her feet. "You're leaving me...for him" I put my finger under Bella's chin and tilted her head up so that her eyes would meet mine. "Of course I'm not Bella I love YOU"

Bella didn't look like she believed me, so I grabbed the back of her head and pulled her in for a searing kiss. Bella gasped in shock but sank into it. I smiled and traced my tongue over her bottom lip asking for entrance. Bella opened her mouth and our tongue's battled for dominance. I let her win this once. Bella pushed me up against the nearest tree, pulling my hips so we were flush against each other.

Bella pulled away smiling, and leaned her head against mine. "Wow" I smiled and kissed her again. We broke away as we heard footsteps approaching.

Garrett... "So this is why you never flirted back? You wanted to have a bit of fun with her first? That's cool with me I can wait, but I'll be back gorgeous." Before anyone could say anything he took off running.

Me and Bella looked at each other before falling to the floor laughing. Bella stood up and took my hand pulling me to my feet. "I'm sorry I was jealous Kate" I smiled and kissed her cheek. "No worries hun, I would have been too, but I would have shocked his ass" I winked at her. Bella rolled her eyes. "Come on, let's go spend time with our daughter"
