Aisha's POV:

I walked inside my school, uninterested. I was really tired and annoyed. I got ditched by my parents. AGAIN!! I tossed my backpack onto the hook on my desk and sat down resting my right knee on the side of the table, signing peace to my friends. "Someone's angry," Hardil said. I glared at him. He looked at the board as quick as lightning.

"Good Morning. We will be doing trigonometry today. Get your books out," Miss David said as she started writing on the board. I hadn't changed my position. After around 4 questions, she looked at me. "Aisha, if you aren't interested, mind doing the 5th question?" She asked. I stuck my hand out for chalk, walked to the board, finished the question, handed her the chalk and walked to my seat. "Why are you like this? Aisha," she urged. "I will tell you later," I said and sat down.

After class, I went up to her. "Tell me," she ordered. "Uh, my mom and dad ditched me. Again. They haven't been home for 2 months and have ditched 10 movie plans. 11 including yesterday. Now, don't tell me that they wanna keep me happy in the future. Because the future is later. The present is what matters!" I ranted. She nodded and I left for lunch. Darshan walked up to me as I sat alone. "Mujhe movie ke liye bula leti. Hum chale jaate," he said. "Pata hai. I just did not think of it," I replied. He kissed my forehead and I continued eating. I didn't have more classes so I grabbed my backpack and left for home. Someone was following me. I looked behind. Amaira. I continued walking.

At home...

I walked in, grabbing a random snack and falling on the couch. Tears escaped my eyes as I played some of Taylor Swift's new songs. After around 15 minutes, the doorbell rang. I hastily wiped my tears away and opened the door. Mom and Dad. "Hi, sweetie," Dad said, trying to hug me. I pulled away and went to my room. They came inside and sat on my bed. "What do you want? Come to tell me that you're gonna be away for another 2 months?" I asked, snarkily. Mom glared. "Don't do that. You ditched 11 plans. If you're gonna say this is for my future, don't. The present is what matters. I don't like foiled plans. You know that. Both of you don't know what is happening in my life, my school, nothing. Get away from me," I explained, quietly. "We were saving lives," Dad shot back. "I know. But, sometimes, even speaking with me for 10 minutes makes a big difference. Now, get away from me, because I know you have to go to the hospital. Your phone's been ringing non-stop. Move it," I said as I laid on the bed picking up my phone and video-calling Darshan. "Hi, Ishu!!" He cheered. "Hi! Uh, tu ghar pe hai?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, why don't you come over? I am bored," I requested and he nodded. I cut the call. "When'd you two become friends?" Dad asked. "Be involved if you wanna know," I said and went downstairs to open the door. I hugged Darshan and pulled him up to my room. My parents walked out of the room. "Learn to be involved. I will move out one day and you won't get to know anything," I called. I kissed Darshan on his lips, pulled away and laid beside him. "So, you called me here to make out?" He asked, smirking. "No, called you here to ask you if you wanted to be my official boyfriend?" I asked, turning to look at him, resting on my elbows. His eyes widened and he bit his lip. I raised my eyebrows. He broke into a smile and pulled me into a kiss. More like a peck. "How are you gonna handle Amaira? She will freak," he asked. "I can. It is Amaira vs ME. You know who's gonna win," I winked and laid down. He laughed. "So, official girlfriend, should we go out on an OFFICIAL date?" He asked. "Later," I said, closing my eyes and laying on his chest.

I knew. He was mine now. And, I couldn't do without him. I was only 15, but I knew. Guess I had to fight Amaira now, huh?
