Aisha's POV:

I walked to back home with all 7 of my friends. All of us were gonna spend a week together at Tara's house. Our parents let us and we were thrilled. I had my headphones in and was singing along to 'I Hate Love Stories' while the others were talking about random stuff. They looked at me and I grinned. We reached Tara's house and I pulled my headphones out. "You hate love stories? Really?" Hardil asked, dramatically. "Nope. I like the song though. The beat is straight fire," I clarified. They laughed. "Where are we gonna sleep?" Darshan asked. It was 5 in the evening and everyone was half-dead. We were organizing the school's half-yearly talent show. That took longer than we expected. "Either all of us split and the boys sleep in the guest room and the girls in my room or we sleep under the stars, the terrace?" Tara asked. We looked at each other and smiled, knowing we wanted to sleep under the stars. We went up to the terrace and set up our hangout for the rest of the week (refer image). "Guys, I know I am being a buzzkill, but, we need to finish homework," Niu said, hesitantly. "Haan, khatam karke chill karenge," I agreed. The boys sulked but still agreed. We got out our books and started. "Yaar, kya hai ye? Aisha, maths mein fat rahi hai. Tera ho gaya na. Please book dede," Siddharth whined. "Haan, dede," everyone else whined. "I will help you. No copying," I stated and everyone whined. I laughed and explained everything to them. Darshan fell asleep halfway through. I poked him. Nope, did not work. I hit him on his back. Hard. "Ishu!" He whined. "Kya yaar, Gabbu? Tu fail ho jayega. Kaan ke neeche aag laga doongi. I am not talking to you," I lectured. "Sorry na," he moaned. I glared at him. The other's whispered something to each other and ran downstairs. "I am sorry, I mean it," he said as he hugged me from the back. I looked away from him. "Silent treatment mat de, gaali dede," he said. "Gaali? Gaali chahiye tujhe?" I yelled, tying my hair up. "Tujhe maar padegi. I will hit you!! You don't take anything seriously. Please, focus, for some time. I am trying to help you. Please, focus. I hate..." I scolded, till he pressed his lips to mine, cutting me off. I kissed back and pulled away quickly, acting angry. He knew how to calm me down. "Zyada mat faad, abhi. I know you're not mad anymore. But, I understood everything you said. I was half asleep. Okay?" He said, hugging me. I laughed, hugging him back. "Aww. You guys are way too cute," the girls cooed. I turned to them, smiling. "Guys, Iron Man is on TV. Chalo, dekhte hain!!" Jyugal came in, informing. I brightened as I ran downstairs, pulling him with me. I loved Marvel.

Darshan's POV:

I smiled as Aisha cuddled up with me. Like, super close. She was practically half on top of me. I adjusted myself to wrap my arms around her waist. She sat between my legs and laid her head on my shoulder. I looked at her. She made kiss faces at me. I stuck my tongue out at her. She turned back to the movie and I immersed myself into her thoughts. Our kisses replayed in my mind and I pursed my lips to control my smile. Aisha turned to me. I raised my eyebrows. "I love you," she mouthed. I winked and mouthed, "I love you too." I wanted to pull her into my arms and kiss her all night. But I couldn't, not in front of my friends.

After we finished the movie, the girls went into the kitchen the figure out dinner. "Boys! We are not doing this alone. Help or starve!!" Alisha yelled. We ran into the kitchen obediently. "What are we gonna eat?" Jyugal asked. "Uh, pancakes?" Tara recommended. We nodded and started helping out. "Anyone want choco chips? To snack on?" Alisha offered. Everyone grabbed some. Aisha didn't. "Oye, aaj chocolate nahi? Tu theek hai?" Niharika asked. "Too much sugar. I ate 3 pieces of dark chocolate in the morning," she explained as she kept working. She was so focused. We continued working and had dinner after 30 minutes.

Midnight...

We were all laying under the stars. Aisha looked at me. She moved closer, kissed my neck and nuzzled her head into my neck. I kissed her down her neck for a bit and hugged her back. She loved when I did that and her eyes rolled to the back of her head (almost) out of pleasure. "You're being too cheesy. I love it but I loathe it," she muttered in my ear and closed her eyes, smirking. "Why are we kissing each other when we're besties? They don't do that, right?" I whispered back. "We are unofficially dating. It is okay to kiss someone you really like. Lemme sleep."

She fell asleep in a second. I loved her. Not just liked her. She was mine. My Ishu. The girl I loved since birth. I hugged her back tightly and fell asleep, just like old times.

Aisha's POV:

I woke up at around 5:30 am as usual. I had nothing to do, so I got dressed and went back to the hangout. I sat down and watched the sunrise. The girls woke up and looked at me. "What are you doing awake at this time?" Tara whispered. "I always wake up this early!" I whisper-yelled. They nodded and got dressed.

At 7 am, we had to wake the boys up. And boy, that was a task. "Sid. Wake up. It is 7:00. We need to go to school," Alisha called as I shook Hardil awake. Niu shook Jyugal and Tara poked Darshan. They grunted. "Boys, UP!! Now!" I yelled. Nope. Again. Uh-uh. All of us girls yelled. NOPE. I went downstairs and pulled out an air horn. We girls had a set of emergency things at all of our houses and we had an air horn in it. I went back upstairs and the girls looked at me. "No. Not an air horn!" Niu whisper-yelled. "That is the only thing that will wake them. Even ALL of us yelling did not work. Seriously," I added, dramatically. They nodded, hesitantly. I walked up to them and blasted it once, twice, no, THRICE!! "What was that?" The boys yelled. "School time. We've been trying to wake you up for 30 minutes. MOVE IT!!" I commanded. They grunted and went downstairs.

This is life...
