Tara's POV:
"Guys, aur nahi jhela jayega. How do I tell Sid?" I whined, sitting down in the classroom. "We need a plan," Aisha said, turning to face the three of us. "A plan for what?" Sid. "Hey, man. You know, girls' night," Aisha covered up. I sighed. "What's wrong, Tartar?" Sid asked me. I shook my head and said, "I'm just tired."
He nodded and went to go sit with the boys. We sighed. "We'll figure something out... Tartar," Niu teased. Sid was the only one who called me that. I blushed madly. "Oye hoye," the girls teased. I covered my face in my palms while they laughed.
Siddharth's POV:
I looked at the girls. They were laughing at Tara and Tara was blushing. Alisha and Aisha were acting something out to her and giggling. Aisha leaned back while laughing and lost balance. Tara grabbed her hand and hauled her up. Aisha mumbled something, then Tara mumbled something and they winked at her. Aisha kissed Tara on the cheek and Tara laughed. "Bhai, jaake bol de," Hardil said, whacking my head. "Nahi yaar, I don't want to ruin our friendship," I replied. "Darshan!!" Alisha called. He walked to them and leaned on Alisha's desk. They started mumbling something to him and he nodded. Aisha kissed his cheek and he walked back to us. I raised an eyebrow at him and he shook his head.
Tara's POV:
"Okay, very simple. Darshan and I are going on a date this Sunday. Tara and Sid can 'third and fourth wheel' us. Then, Darshan and I leave them in a very romantic space and go do our own thing. Pick them up later?" I asked. Darshan nodded and Tara blushed. "But, what if Sid gets suspicious?" Alisha asked. "Well, I didn't say the plan was foolproof," Aisha sassed, shrugging. "Hmm. How about we don't call it a date? The rest of us four say we cannot come and ask you to go have fun," Niu suggested. We nodded, smiling. "Tara, you need to go buy some courage," Aisha said. "How much does it cost? I blew all my savings on your birthday gift," I laughed. "Maybe I can lend you some money 'cause it's pretty expensive," Niu chuckled. Darshan bit his lip, trying not to laugh. Aisha signed something to him and he looked away. "Wait, where are you guys going?" I asked. "The beach," Aisha replied. We smirked. Aisha gave us a look. "Very romantic, Ash," Niu teased. "Hey, you go to the beach all the time with J. By the way, we should go on a double date sometime soon," Aisha rejoined, laying her head on my shoulder. "Yeah, to the restaurant. We've never gone on a proper dinner date," Niu laughed and Aisha grinned. "Talk about this on your own time. You're making me feel so single," Alisha groaned. We laughed.
That evening...
I was sitting alone in the park, enjoying hot chocolate when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around. Siddharth. "Hi, Tartar," he cheered. I smiled at him and he sat beside me, grabbing the hot chocolate from me and taking a sip. I whined. He smiled at me, handing it back. "Uh, chocolate moustache," I laughed, pointing at his mouth. He licked it away. "Good. So, what are you doing here?" I asked, settling down. "Hanging, I was bored. You?" He smiled. "I was tired. I wanted to unwind," I chuckled. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder. My heart started beating so fast. I looked up at him. "What?" He droned. I shook my head. My phone rang. "Hi, Aisha," I cheered. She told me to start with the plan. I cut the call. "Hey, Sid. You wanna join me this Sunday?" I asked. "Where?"
"I am third-wheeling Darshan and Aisha. The others can't come," I explained. "Okay, I will fourth-wheel," he smiled.
Siddharth's POV:
She kissed my cheek and hugged me tightly, her cheek touching mine. "Your cheeks are heating up so bad right now," she giggled. Dang, I just wanted to kiss her right away. "Watcha thinkin'," she asked, mimicking Aisha's accent. I shook my head, chuckling. "Hey, um... you sure you're joining me? I mean, if they run away from us, you may get stuck with me," she asked. "Hey, you're fun. I don't mind," I smiled at her. She grinned. "Sid, you're the best," she said. She grabbed my other cheek and pressed her lips to my cheek tightly. She pulled away and walked off. I sat there, blushing madly, hand on my cheek.
