Aisha's POV:
I was back at school. I could walk. But, I couldn't dance. I COULDN'T DANCE BECAUSE OF AN IDIOT NAMED AMAIRA KHATRI!! I was really angry. "Ishu, you can't just be quiet like this," Darshan said as he rubbed my arm. "I can't dance, Gabbu. Because of a lawbreaker. What have I done wrong? I get it, I am painting all the time. I love it. But, I need activity in life," I whined, punching the table. "Don't hurt yourself, Aisha," Siddharth said as he pulled my hand away and hugged me. Darshan joined in. "Hi!!" Amaira. She sat down as if she did not know anything. "Aisha, why aren't you talking?" She mocked. "Oh, you want me to talk? I will talk. You. A fucking lawbreaker wants me to talk. Oh, how fun! I hate you. You ruined my life. 3 months. 3 FREAKING MONTHS OF NO DANCE!! YOU ARE SO LUCKY WE ARE AT SCHOOL NOW. IF NOT, I WOULD HAVE BROKEN YOUR DAMN LEG. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE IN MY PLACE? OH, LET'S SEE. YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT ANYONE ELSE BUT YOURSELF, DO YOU? I KNOW WHY YOU BROKE MY ANKLE. For revenge. You don't like that I am seeing Darshan. Right?" I yelled, standing up and punching the table, hard. My knuckles were bleeding. The teachers were staring at me wide-eyed. My friends were shocked at my outburst. Amaira was looking at me. She was gonna get slapped. I was gonna get suspended if I slapped her. I knew.
"Okay, whoa. Aisha, calm down," Miss David said as she placed a hand on my shoulder. I flinched hard. "YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN!! CALM DOWN SHE SAYS. WOW. OKAY, I HAVE THE BIGGEST AUDITION OF MY LIFE ON JANUARY 16 AND IT IS SEPTEMBER. I CAN'T PRACTICE. BECAUSE OF THIS LAWBREAKER," I cried as I pulled Amaira up and slapped her. Once, twice, nope. Thrice. "Here," Darshan said, calmly as he stuffed 2 pieces of dark chocolate in my mouth. I hugged him, shoving my head into his chest and tears rolled down my cheeks.
Darshan's POV:
"Woah. Wow. Darshan, how?" Miss David asked, in wonder. "He's the only one that can calm her down when she's angry. He's got some kinda magic. No one, not even her parents can calm her down," Alisha explained and I smiled, wrapping my arm around Aisha and stroking her hair. "First aid?" I whispered in Aisha's ear and she nodded. I pulled her to the nurse's office and the nurse finished her first aid. We stepped out and went to the classroom. I closed the door and Aisha sat on a table. "Why did you not tell me about the audition?" I asked, cupping her face. "Because, if I get through, I won't be home this summer. It is for a 3-month long dance program in Mumbai," she mumbled in a low voice, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Oh," I said, my hands dropping from her face. "Oh? This is huge, Gabbu. If I get this, my future in dance will be wonderful," she smiled, her eyes gleaming with hope. I cupped her face again and pecked her lips. "You will make it. I know," I smiled at her. She hugged me, tightly. "So, you're not mad?" She asked. I shook my head and she squeezed my cheeks, kissing me. "Guys, again?" Siddharth. I pulled away quickly. "Yes, again," Aisha smirked. "By the way, now that our secret is out, all four of us are auditioning for that program," Niharika explained. We nodded. "Wait? Toh tum log summer mein yaha pe nahi rahoge?" Hardil asked, looking at Alisha. She nodded. "Humara kya hoga?" Siddharth urged, looking at Tara. "Video call pe manage karna padega. 3 mahino ki sirf baat hai..." Tara said and smiled at Sid. His face dropped. "Sid, it is okay," Tara assured and hugged him. "Now, wait a minute. Yeh kya chal raha hai?" Aisha smirked. "What?" Tara groaned. "Beta tu baad me miliyo zara," she mumbled, smiling. Tara looked away. Aisha and Niharika looked at each other and gave each other a knowing smirk, nodding. "Kya?" Siddharth asked. I pressed my lips together to control my smile. "Tu chal humare saath," Jyugal said and pulled Sid with him. Hardil and I followed.
"Sid, beta, tu kisko jhoot bol raha hai?" Jyugal smirked. "Kya bol rahe ho yaar tum log?" Sid whined. "Oye, bakwaas mat kar. Sachh bata. You like Tara?" I laughed. He nodded, scratching the back of his head. We whooped and he blushed, going red in the cheeks.
Aisha's POV:
We looked at Tara. She was staring at the floor. "Tara," I whispered. No response. "Ms Ahuja," Niu called. She looked up. We gave her a look. "Okay, okay. I like him. He is a really great guy. Happy?" She confessed, throwing her hands up. "Hum tera mazak udane nahi wale. Jab bolna hai, bol liyo," Alisha said, raising her eyebrows. She nodded, blushing like crazy. "Oh boy," I mumbled to Niu and she nodded. We knew this was gonna be a huge project. "When did you start liking him?" I asked out loud, looking at Tara. She shrugged, blushing. "You're blushing mess, girl," Niu exclaimed, dramatically as the boys entered the classroom. "Who's a blushing mess?" Hardil asked. "Tara," Niu, Alisha and I returned. "Kyun?" Sid urged. I looked at Niu, we turned to Sid and shook our heads. Tara was still blushing. "Tara, really?" I said as I sighed. "Girl, you really need some alone time. Go home. Contemplate your feelings," Alisha advised. She nodded and rushed out, grabbing her backpack in a hurry. Niu and I gave Darshan and Jyugal a warning look. They nodded. "Wait, what feelings?" Sid asked, wide-eyed. We looked at each other, sceptically and decided not to say anything. We shook our heads. He pouted. "Don't give me the face. Put the pout away," I said. He pouted more. I glared at him. He looked at the floor. "Sid, come here," I called and hugged him. "You like her, don't you?" I whispered in his ear and he nodded. I pinched his cheeks and wiped away nonexistent tears on his face. He smiled and we left to go home.
We needed to set them up. How? I don't know... Yet.
