Act 1 Scene 12: Gwen's Escape

Gwen uses a vine as a bridge out into the forest. Lindsay tries to chase her, but the others stop her.

TYLER: Lindsay, stop!

LINDSAY: But... Gwen...
The snow everywhere melts and everywhere becomes green.

GOLDBLUM: Folks, something's happening. Plants are sprouting everywhere.

BRIDGETTE: But how--?

TYLER: We know.
GEOFF: We kept it a secret, but I'll explain everything.
(One explanation later)

LINDSAY: So that's why. She really did care...
(She gets a determined look on her face)

LINDSAY: I'm going after her!

TYLER: What?

LINDSAY: I understand why she locked herself away. And I never told her what I wanted to tell her.

BRIDGETTE: I'm coming with you! I pushed her too hard.
GEOFF: We'll come too, dude!

BRIDGETTE: But some people...

The townspeople take their winter gear off but leave their Christmas decorations.
BRICK: It's suddenly very green...

HAROLD: Gwen must've given us a forever spring.
BRIDGETTE: We have to get her to get back Christmas. Listen, folks, the following are coming with me. Tyler, Courtney, Trent, Geoff and Lindsay. The rest of you will stay here. Alejandro, you'll stay here too, yes?
ALEJANDRO: Of course.

TRENT: Ready, Bridgette?
BRIDGETTE: Of course!

TYLER: Should we let Robin know?

TRENT: Everything will be better before he even gets back.
GEOFF: Alright.

COURTNEY: Are you ready, Lindsay?
LINDSAY: You bet.
