Blossomed (WARNING GARBAGE)

Act 1 Scene 16: Hyenas

Duncan leads the search party on a path. 
DUNCAN: So, what made your friend go crazy on earthbending?
BRIDGETTE: Well, it was kinda my fault. I pushed her too hard. I wanted this handsome young man to join our town...

GEOFF: You mean you just asked the next boy on the street to--
BRIDGETTE: I did not! And I'm not finished. I told her; she got angry, Lindsay got angry, and then I got angry. Lindsay grabbed her bracelet and her powers were revealed.

GEOFF: Did Robin ever warn you about strangers?!
BRIDGETTE: He did, but Alejandro's not a stranger.
GEOFF: Really? Where's he from?
BRIDGETTE: Honduras.

GEOFF: Favorite food?

BRIDGETTE: Baleada.

GEOFF: Eye color?

BRIDGETTE: Sexy.

GEOFF: What's inside his pants?

BRIDGETTE: What's inside his pants doesn't matter.

TYLER: Why are you asking her all these things?

GEOFF: Well, I just summarized that it's not romance.

BRIDGETTE: What're you, some kind of romance expert?
GEOFF: Yes I am!

Duncan becomes alarmed and cautious.

LINDSAY: Wolf boy, why did you stop--

DUNCAN: Quiet!

LINDSAY: But--
DUNCAN: No really! Be quiet!
The search party hears cackles.

DUNCAN: I knew it! Hyenas. Hang on!

A gang of 12 hyenas, all female, suddenly jump out. They cackle as they chase Courtney first. The others stand still as the chase is on.

DUNCAN: Come at me, my old nemesis!
BRIDGETTE: What're we supposed to do?
GEOFF: You stay out of this! I don't trust a girl who becomes infatuated with some man she just met!
BRIDGETTE: It's romance!
GEOFF: I thought we had something!
BRIDGETTE: We still do!

The hyenas come close to biting Courtney, but Duncan fights them off one by one and toss them into a river. The matriarch of the hyenas-- the Big One -- pounces on Duncan, but he cracks her jaw and is the final one to be tossed into the river.

GEOFF: See, I told you he'd come in handy.
COURTNEY: Th-thank you... D-Duncan...
DUNCAN: No problem, girl. Wanna see my life?

COURTNEY: It wouldn't hurt, would it?
DUNCAN: Course it wouldn't. Florian will lead the others. (raises his voice) Hey folks, we're parting ways! 

Duncan and Courtney walk one path, the rest walk another.
