Gwen wakes up and finds herself in solitary confinement. As she heads for the grated window, she sees that her arms and legs are put in chains. She looks out the grated window. Outside, the town is all green and the rivers are flooding.

GWEN: This is all my fault.
Alejandro opens the door.
ALEJANDRO: She's dangerous. I gotta be careful.
Alejandro enters.

GWEN: Why'd you take me here?

ALEJANDRO: If I didn't, you would've been executed.

GWEN: I'm a threat here. I can't stay! Take my position for me and take care of Trent and Lindsay and--
ALEJANDRO: They haven't returned yet. If you just stop this insane spring and give us Christmas, we can find them.

GWEN: Don'tcha see? I can't do it! I don't know how to do it. You have to tell them to let me go.

ALEJANDRO: Merry Christmas.
Alejandro puts a metal gag on Gwen before he leaves.
Gwen makes muffled cries with the gag. She uses her powers to create vines that engulf her chains.

Gwen's vines spread across the rooms and she breaks open. Gwen breaks her gag free with her additional mindbending.
