Act 2 Scene 17: Friendship Wins

Trent hears Alejandro grab a gun. He sees Alejandro with a gun aiming for Gwen.
TRENT: Gwen!
He realizes what Alejandro's about to do and hurries over. Geoff and Bridgette stop to see Trent dashing to Gwen.
Trent becomes inbetween the bullet and Gwen.
GWEN: Trent?

Trent suddenly transforms into a topiary. Gwen manages to avoid the bullet that goes straight through Trent. Gwen gets up and sees what happened to Trent.
GWEN: Trent! Trent can you hear me? No... no no no no...
Gwen sobs quietly. Beth is the only one who realizes what happened to Trent. Gwen locks lips with Trent's leafy lips. Suddenly, Trent is revived from being a topiary.

GWEN: Trent?
Trent glances at Gwen, then he embracers her.
GWEN: You sacrificed yourself... for me?
TRENT: I love you, Gwen.

JENNY: An act of friendship saved him and his perfect match?
GWEN: I don't think it's just friendship...
GWEN & TRENT: It's romance.
GWEN: Friendship wins!
BETH: Then what is romance?
HAROLD: Just a category of friendship.

All the plants, vines and flowers wilt away as snow starts falling. All the snow returns as Gwen removes all the spring effects.
TRENT: I always knew you could do it.
JENNY: This is without a doubt the best day of my life!
Jenny starts to crumble.
JENNY: And quite possibly the last...
GWEN: Oh. Jenny. Hang on there.
Gwen uses her bending to stop Jenny from crumbling and puts "spring blood" in Jenny's DNA.
JENNY: DNA! The building blocks of life! My own personal spring DNA!
HAROLD: Hey, I saw that in a movie once!

Duncan and Courtney show up with the wolf pack. Duncan notices Alejandro getting up. He approaches Alejandro, but Bridgette pushes him pack.
ALEJANDRO: Hey, what's with Trent? I thought his heart died.
BRIDGETTE: The only person here with a dead heart is you.
Bridgette punches Alejandro and he falls down a bridge. His henches climb down the bridge to see what happened. The hyenas from before are now snarling at them. The chase is on.
Geoff and Bridgette embrace, as do Tyler and Lindsay, Gwen and Trent, Duncan and Courtney. Two wolves push Duncan and Courtney together, resulting in their first kiss. 

Justin has managed to escape the hyenas.
JUSTIN: I just worked for Alejandro because to me, Christmas has lost its spirit! I just wish I could spend Christmas with someone.
The civilians look at each other. Tyler does not believe him.
BETH: I know he's a brat, but... he could be my roommate. I could show him what Christmas is.

MEKNIKOV: After the New Year, I'm going back to Kazakhstan.
