Girl's Day

We had all moved into the dorms. Girls on one side and boys on the other. I wanted to be the furthest away from everyone else so I ended up being on the top floor. No one wanted to be on the top floor, I wasn't sure why until I figured out who my floormates were. Also occupying the top floor were Kirishima, Kaminari, and Bokugo. I was the only female on this floor. The boys' rooms were across from mine a couple doors down.

The other students held a dorm room contest, I opted out because I didn't really want to be around anyone else. All of the students were nice, I just didn't get along very well with other people, and I preferred my space to be mine. It took forever to even feel comfortable with Dabi staying the night.

Dabi. Part of me missed him. I wonder if he went to my place and searched for me. Knowing his temper my apartment was probably torn apart. Aizawa did a good job with covering up my existence. As far as the public knows, I have always been a part of class 1A. Wonder if he was worried.

A small tentative knock at my door interrupted my thoughts. I opened the door to see Momo.

"Hey," she looked a little uncomfortable, "I know you probably don't have a lot of things, so I made you this," she held up a pot with a succulent in it. "I know it's not much, but its a low maintenance plant and I'm not sure if you're that into plants, I didn't make the plant I just made the pot. It's my quirk, like in the forest I made the masks for everyone..." she kept rambling on and on

I took the plant from her hands, "thank you" I gave her a genuine smile. "I'm not sure if I have ever been gifted anything before, I love it."

Momo looked relieved, "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall?"

I squinted at her, "Who's going?"

"Just a couple of us, no big groups I promise!" Momo said quickly

I was suspicious, but I looked at my empty room. I didn't have to pay any bills, I'm sure I can afford a few things. Aizawa said I could earn money as an assistant when needed.

"Okay fine, lets go."

I put my gift on the floor next to my bed. I'd find somewhere better when I get more stuff put into my room.

I ended up going to the mall with Momo, Jiro, Uraraka and Mina. They chatted away all friendly like and I just enjoyed the company.

"You don't talk too much do you?" Mina said getting close to me

"Mina! Leave her alone, some people are just quiet!" Uraraka shooed her away.

"Is there anything specific you want to get?" she asked sweetly

All eyes were on me, I didn't like this attention, "Just some clothes would be nice" I smiled shyly.

"OH I LOVE THIS!" Mina exploded "Getting you a new wardrobe! I know all the best places!" She tried dragging me to this store with all this pink shit.

"I appreciate you trying to help but-"

She held up a pink fur coat excitedly "you'd look great in this!!!"

I laughed, "I think that's more suited for you."

"Yea Mina, you have a bit of different taste than the rest of us" Jiro laughed

She looked saddened by this, but perked up when she saw something sparkly and moved onto the next.

The girls separated into groups throughout the store and began clothing shopping. Momo followed me around tentatively. I didn't ignore her on purpose, I just didn't have much to say. She's just trying to make you feel welcome, you need to be nicer.
