Aftermath

It had been about 2 days since the training dome.

 Aizawa came to me and put me on house arrest for a week. I wasn't sure why he was being so easy on me. As far as I knew, she was still in the hospital. 

She sustained a lot of damage to her wing during our fight, ontop of being pinned by falling debris. Kirishima visited her a lot with Momo. So did Half n half. I couldn't stomach it. She'd glare at me, call me an asshole. I put my head in my hands. I deserve it. There was a knock at my door. I opened it to see Kaminari and Kirishima.

"Dude you need to go see her. Like I know you're upset, but it's worse if you don't go." Kirishima scratched the back of his neck.

"We're going to go now, she's supposed to be coming home today. You should talk to her when she gets back."

"House arrest remember?" I looked at the ground. They were right. Not seeing her, not texting her. Pretty bad.

"I'm gonna help you out dude, don't worry." Kaminari pulled out a bouquet of flowers, "orange roses! They mean friendship! It makes you more... 3 dimensional."

"What the hell does that mean?" I snatched the roses from Kaminari's hands

"It just makes you seem softer." Kirishima added carefully, "not in a bad way though. The way that girls like."

"I don't care if girls like me. I don't care if anyone likes me."

"Well guess what. I like you, Kaminari likes you, and Kai, I'm pretty sure she likes you too. Show her you like her too." Kirishima said flatly

"We're going to get her. Go shower or something. You look like shit." Kirishima never really talked to me in this way. 

I was surprised. I was more surprised that I didn't launch myself at him. Instead I nodded, closed the door and set the flowers down.

I got out of the shower and stared at the flowers. Orange means friendship. Were we even friends? Did she even want to be friends with me after I hurt her? Fuck. I screwed up.

Kai's POV

The last thing I remember was an argument with Bakugo. It's probably why I'm sitting in a hospital bed. I was exhausted. Recovery girl, along with Aizawa and All Might walked into the room.

"Hello Kai! How are you feeling?"

"Really tired, but I'm not in any pain."

"Good!"

"Do you remember what happened?" Aizawa looked at me carefully

"I think I can put the pieces together. Bakugo and I had an argument and I riled him up and he reacted."

Aizawa narrowed his eyes at me, "The way you say it makes it sound like it's your fault."

I stayed quiet,

"From what I saw, you walked away from the argument and this upset Bakugo so he lashed out. You're telling me you provoked him to fire?"

"Yes sir. I am as much to blame as he is."

I could see All Might smiling approvingly. Aizawa grunted and looked annoyed.

"I was able to heal most of your injuries sustained. Your wing is going to take time. Please take it easy." Recovery girl said, "you're free to go today."

"How long has it been?"

"You've been out for 2 days." All Might told me.

I laughed, "I can't believe I KOed on my first day."
