Bakugo's POV

I ran with Kirishima down alleyways and sidestreets. I didn't want to be near anyone. I wanted to fight something or someone.

"Man, what's gotten into you?" Kirishima followed closely behind me, "I mean you're usually grumpy, but not in this way."

"I'm not grumpy" I hissed back, "Let's just save these stupid teacher and get this over with."

"Why did you miss the run today? I called you twice this morning and you sent me to voicemail."

I sighed. "She looked so peaceful sleeping, I didn't want to wake her."

Fond memories of last night flooded my brain. I was startled when someone just let themselves into my room. I was relieved that it was her. Her small warm body pressed against mine. She smelled like lavender, and her skin was soft to the touch. She fell asleep quickly and her wings went limp. I had expected her wings to be an issue but she slept on her side and she controlled how big they were. She tucked her face into my neck and I was lulled to sleep by her soft sighs. I ran my fingers through her hair and down her wings. They were softer than I thought they would be, light gray in color. They twitched and she moaned into me, pressing her body closer. I couldn't stop my hands traveling down her waist and rubbing her thighs. She wrapped her legs around me and cuddled in more. She had scars and patches of burnt skin all over her body. When I was fucking her I wanted to kiss every inch of her bruised skin. Her scars were something that both impressed me and made my heart hurt. She didn't deserve any of the pain she's felt. I kissed her forehead. I'd kill anyone that touched her. She twitched in her sleep and rolled over. I felt cold and pulled her close to me. I didn't want this to ever end.

"That's cute" Kirishima snapped me out of my thoughts, "I'm happy for you Bakugo."

As we walked through an alleyway, a fleeting shadow passed overhead. I looked up and saw her jumping from building to building.

"Yeah that's the stuff!" Kirishima cheered

I ran into the street to watch her. She sailed between buildings in a single bound. Following behind her was that purple haired asshole. I growled.

"She's amazing Bakugo, she's just like you." Kirishima smiled,

"She's just a bit friendlier than I'd like."

"Oh calm down, everyone is friendlier than you."

"Shut up shitty hair" I started into a jog to catch up

"We're following them? What about the civilians?" Kirishima whispered

"We'll find them, I just want to see something."

"Bakugo wait!" Kirishima called out just as I hit a trip wire. That's not good.

Around us buildings cracked and fell apart. Oh fuck.

"Bakugo!" Kirishima hardened himself to protect me from a blast of rock, "we need to get out of here"

We ran ahead as buildings continued to tumble. Behind us I heard a building creak and begin to fall in our direction. We'll never be able to make it. I felt myself be grabbed by my collar and picked up. I was thrown at the feet of a smug purple haired bitch. Moments later, Kirishima joined me. Kai had flown in and got us.

"Well it looks like our team just got bigger." Shinso said flatly

I gritted my teeth and didn't respond. I didn't trust him at all.

"Thanks for the save Kai." Kirishima got up

"We're supposed to be saving the teachers not our peers." Kai laughed, "But no worries!"
