Pregame

Kai's POV

I pretty much avoided everyone for the rest of the week. If I did leave it was when everyone had went to bed. I went to the store and stocked up on ramen and bought an electric kettle for my room. I went to the mall and got myself a large tapestry to put on my wall, and successfully made my balcony into the perfect reading nook with a hammock Momo had made. Momo also made me a couple shelves and a nightstand. She insisted on doing this for me. I appreciated her and bought her dinner that day. I brought my computer from my apartment along with more clothes, posters and a couple knick knacks. My room was looking more livable than before. I was at peace. My phone pinged. It was from Mina to a group I was in.

Mina: Hey guys! It's our last weekend off! Party in the commons? Get down here!

The girls responded right away with some variation of a 'hell yes' and that they'd bring snacks.

Momo: I don't want to be a bad egg, but I do have quite a bit of wine from my parents

My interest peaked. I had drunk a lot when I was on my own. I mostly got drunk with Dabi, he was a few years older than me and was able to easily obtain alcohol.  My phone pinged, Momo side texted me.

Momo: I forgot to ask you, you're comfortable with drinking right?

Me: lol, yes of course, I appreciate you making sure! :)

Momo: Please come? Wear something cute! I miss your face!!!!

I smiled, I enjoyed having friends, and I did feel bad for keeping to myself these last couple days. The girls texted me over and over and I either didn't respond or gave them 1 word answers.

Me: define cute.... how far are we going with this?

Momo: I'm in the elevator now....

Jesus. I walked over to my door and opened it expecting to see Momo, instead Kirishima was there, his hand up mid-knock. "Oh hi"

I laughed, "You have some sort of psychic power or something?"

Kirishima laughed and scratched the back of his neck, "No, I just was thinking of having some friends over tonight and we were gonna play video games and stuff... ya know.. Cool dude shit."

I feigned surprise, "OO you have friends? I am proud of you Kirishima."

He didn't look amused, "Anyways, we're not very quiet, and an update is coming out tonight so it's going to be an all nighter, so I present you with a choice" he smiled wide, "listen to us be idiots, or watch us be idiots"

The elevator dinged and Momo stepped out just as he said the last part, "Hold up, she's mine tonight!"

"I'm flattered, it's been a while since someone has fought over me."

"What are you guys doing???" Kirishima asked innocently

"I am helping Kai pick out an outfit for our party tonight." Momo smiled

"Oooo, can I help? I'm good at this stuff! I have flavor!"

"A second opinion is always good! Come on,"

And like that Momo invited Kirishima into MY room. I facepalmed as they both pushed past me.

"Wow, I wasn't sure what I was expecting but certainly not this!" Kirishima looked in awe at my wall of knives.

Momo laughed, "I'm glad it doesn't look depressing in here anymore," Kirishima shot her a dirty look, "not-that-I-mean-anything-about-by-that,-I'm-just-glad-you-got-your-stuff," she rambled quicky
