"She's just so pretty," Marella mumbled, eyes trained on Linh as she smiled.

"What?" Biana asked.

Marella snapped her gaze away, a bright red taking over her pixie-like features. "Nothing." She proceeded to grab the books out of her locker, sighing.

Biana shook her head in response and grabbed her own things. "You're thinking about her again, aren't you?" Marella glared at the brunette, sticking her tongue out.

She just couldn't help it. Who wouldn't like Linh? She was just so... perfect.

Linh carried herself with a confidence Marella had never seen prior to knowing her. Everything she did was with grace and elegance.

She never stumbled over her words, as if she planned out each sentence in her head before she spoke. Not to mention that she had so much control over her abilities and emotions, something Marella had only dreamed of having. The littlest things Linh did left her in awe. She was just so...

"You're so gay." Marella whipped her head around, mouth agape.

"You're such a hypocrite. You're like, the biggest lesbian I know!" Biana just smirked, twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"At least I don't make it obvious." Marella just scoffed, rolling her eyes. There was no way she was gayer than Biana.

Just because she watched Linh's every movement and practically drooled over her didn't mean anything... Okay, scratch that, she was super freaking gay.

But honestly, if you were in her shoes you would feel the same. Ever since she started training with Linh she's become the definition of 'gay panic'.

Linh was so kind and always made sure Marella was okay. Not to mention she was powerful. Hell, she's the girl who wiped out an ogre city. How could she not be in awe.

Linh was leant up against a locker talking with Sophie and Tam, laughing softly. God, even her laughs were gorgeous. Not only the face she made, but the sound too.

It was such a warm, rich laugh. It brightened everything, leaving Marella feeling warm and fuzzy.

She really needed to get her feelings in check, huh?
