Katara's POV

          I didn't tell Aang that the doctors told me Gyatso had only 4 days to survive. If Gyatso is gone Aang has no family left. Gyatso is his uncle. Aang's parents were killed when we were young. I told Aang to stay strong and be with Gyatso. He did as I said. He stayed by Gyatso's bed and I stayed with Aang. I'm here for him cuz he was there for me when I needed him. He is the reason I moved on from my mother's death. He made me realize that love is a form of energy and is reincarnated in a new form. For me my mother's love was reincarnated in the form of Aang. I can't thank him enough.

         We had a function on Saturday and the doctors gave Gyatso a max limit of Friday. Aang will not be able to perform. I was tensed about his dream. He loves to sing. But Gyatso I will be bad. Gyatso was sleeping right now and I was comforting Aang that Gyatso would want him to be happy. The Doctors soon came and told us Gyatso was up and he can talk but only a little. The thing that happened was that Gyatso had a heart attack and if we wouldn't have gotten there he would be dead by now.

         We went into Gyatso's room and he held his hand out weakly to Aang. Aang went and held his hand and cried. Suddenly Gyatso spoke "Son don't cry. I want you to be happy and do your best on Saturday. Be happy I will not be with you for too long." "Gyatso don't s-say that. You will be alright." "No son my time has come. Katara take care of him after me please." he said to me. "I will Gyatso don't worry." Me and Aang were tearing up. Gyatso was like family to the Gaang. Gyatso smiled and closed his eyes. His heart stopped. I hugged Aang and kept comforting him. Gyatso was his only family. I called the Gaang and we comforted Aang. Gyatso's funeral was held at the air temple.

*Time skip to Saturday*

         It has been a few days Aang is still a little upset but mostly moved on. We were all getting ready for our performance today. I had a solo after a group song. I am going to confess my feelings to Aang. He needs to know that someone still loves him. I love him. We were setting our things up and Aang was smiling he was best at hiding his feelings first song we were going to sing was 'Memories by maroon 5' we dedicated this song to Gyatso. The song soon begun.
