Today was Christmas Day, and it marked an official year with Draco. I was so happy to be with him, I heard a knocking on my window and looked up to see a owl with a letter. But it wasn't just any owl, it was Draco's. I smile as I let in his Owl and take the note from him. I quickly open it as I sit back down on my bed and read the note;

' Good morning Miss. Wilson. Today, you will only be able to find me through letters around the castle. If you need help, you may ask Goyle and Caitlin. But be warned, they will only give you limited information so don't ask for more then you are given.
First clue: Get comfy and cosy and enjoy a quick cup of coffee.

- D.M '

I got up out of my bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower, I got out and put on some black jeans and a grey jumper. I grabbed my shoes and coat and took them downstairs as I walked to the sofa.

I looked onto the table to see a coffee and a note underneath it. I sat down and got the coffee taking a sip. I grabbed the letter and tried to open it with my one hand.

' now you've had your coffee you're ready to eat, make you way down to somewhere sweet '

Well that could be 2 places: it could be the Hall or it could be a shop in Hogsmeade. I make my way down to the hall and scanned the whole of the Slytherin table. No note. I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Caitlin.

"Oh my god, Caitlin this is crazy!" I say to her, she stays still and doesn't say a word... this is weird...

"Do you want a clue?" She says simply not taking her eyes off me. I nod at her response.

"Hogsmeade." Is all she says. I hug her quickly and start to jog out the hall, putting my coat on. I make my way to Hogsmeade.

I get there and head into Honeydukes. The place is packed. Maybe he would've hidden the note with my favourite sweets. I head over to the left and look for the caramel cobwebs. Nothing, I headed to the desk.

"Excuse me, is it possible you might have a note for me?" I ask. His face goes questionable.

"Is your name Jade Wilson?" He asks back. I nod and reply yes. He turns around and back with a note and a small gift bag, which had some caramel cobwebs and chocolate frogs in.

"Enjoy and good luck!" He says as he hands me the gifts. I start to pull some money out before he stops me.

"Don't worry, Miss. it has already been paid for." He says as he continues to smile. I thanked him and headed out the store. I stood outside the window and opened the note.

' now you're set, it's time for a drink. Grab a glass and give it a good clink.'

I instantly knew what Draco was talking about, so I headed to The Three Broomsticks. The warm air hit me as I stepped into the building. I looked around to see Goyle at a booth with 2 drinks. I head over to him.

"Hey. Can I join you?" I ask as I prepare myself to sit down.

"It's in the script, so yes" he replies and moves over. I slide into the booth and took the Butterbeer. Goyle raised his glass as I did the same, we clicked our glasses and I took a sip.

"Goyle, what is happening? Like seriously where is Draco?"

"I can't tell you that unfortunately. But, you can take this." He said as he slid a piece of paper over the table. I took another sip of my Butterbeer and picked up the note reading it.

' your tasks are almost complete, but you must remember, where did we first meet?'

I looked up and thought about where that was. I knew it wasn't on the train, or in the common room... maybe it could of been outside the Hall? I looked over at Goyle who quickly finished his drink and shrugged at me, as he started to walk away. Now I'm alone, again.

I was walking back to Hogwarts and I'm not going to lie, I just want to see Draco now. It's nearly lunch and I still haven't heard from him apart from these letters. It was cute and all but I just wanted to hug him.

I finally get to the stairs of the outside Hall entrance. I looked over to the left near the balcony to see another letter.

' this is the last piece of the puzzle, your favourite class is charms but what's above it? Head to the tower, where I'll be waiting for you '

Finally, I was going to see Draco. I had been walking all day and I was so ready for a break. I stood at the bottom of the astrometry tower as i took one last deep breathe and headed up the stairs. I slowly walked around the spiral staircase and looked forward. My head came into view of the floor as I looked up and saw Draco's back. He turns around as I finally stand a couple of metres away from him.

"Happy anniversary Jade, you look beautiful as always" he held a single rose in his hand and he looked dashing. He wore the black suit like the one I first saw him in. My eyes started to water.

"Malloy, what was all this? You didn't have to do ANY of this." I said as I walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around my torso as I placed my hands on his chest as he radiated with warmth.

"No, I did have to do this. I had to do something special for the most precious person in my life." He hugs me as he talks and I snuggle into him. I felt safe, and I felt at home. We pulled away and shared a little kiss. I started to cry more.

"Oh no, please don't cry... please don't cry" Draco says as he wiped my tears away. I smiled and looked up to him. His eyes glistened a different colour, they seemed brighter, more happier. I could stare into his eyes all day.

"Did you have a good day?"

"It was great, but I wish I spent more of it with you." I say as i walk over to the rail and look out to the frozen black lake.

"I did what I had to do, but now we can spend time together now." He turns to me and places his hand out. As I take it, he leads me to behind the Clocktower. He goes behind me and places his cold hands onto my eyes.

"Draco, no. This isn't necessary."

"Yes it is, stop complaining" he chuckles. We walk a little more until we come to a stop. The clock was so loud that I could tell we were right next to it. He takes his hands off my eyes as I look down to see a blanket and a picnic basket on the floor. I put my hand to my heart in awe. It was perfect. I took a seat on the left as Draco sat by my side. He went into the basket and pulled out some drinks and snacks.

After a while of talking, eating and laughing. We decided to wrap the blanket around us as I sat in front of Draco with my back leaning on his chest. He played with my hair as I looked out the Clocktower, with it's loud ticking.

"This has been a great day, like truly. Thank you Draco, you're the best." I say as I look over to him. He smiles and looks back at me.

"Anything for you." He says in return. He leans in and gives me a very emotional but affectionate kiss. I lean away and look into his eyes. This moment was perfect, and I was so happy.

"I love you, Draco Malfoy."
