I woke up from the sound of my loud alarm. I groaned, I sat up and saw Prim sitting on her bed doing her thing. "Get up loser, today's your flight. You literally have one hour and a half left." she said.

I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and got ready. I finished for about twenty minutes. Prim helped me carry my things and we went down. Dad and Mom are waiting for us.

"Good morning!" Dad sipped from his coffee. Mom walked towards me, "Are you ready? Are your things ready?" she asked, caressing my shoulder. I nodded, "Yes mom" I said.

Dad stood up and got the car ready, I got out of our house. Mom, Dad and Prim are inside the car, waiting for me. I look at our house for the last time, "Asta la Vista, Big guy" I muttered under my breath and got in the car.

As we made our way to the airport, mom told me some few reminders like wear your mask every time, wash your hands, maintain social distancing and things like that. I don't know but something felt like I left my heart back at home.

I looked at my window and started to sob for no exact reason. Prim noticed it, "Mom, Winter's about to cry again." she jokingly said. I playfully punched her arm, "Stop" I whined. I bursted out crying, I couldn't stop it. I'm going to miss everything about Texas.

Everybody laughed and comforted me, we arrived at the airport after for a few minutes.

We got out of the car and entered the airport. We stopped walking, "Well, thank you for visiting us, Winter." Dad hugged my really tight. I hugged him back and sniffed a bit. I turned to Mom and hugged her. She patted my back and said few things. Then to Prim, who hugged me and swayed me side to side aggressively, it cheered me up though.

She slapped my left butt cheek secretly, "See ya, little lady" she winked at me. I rolled my eyes and got my luggage.

"Take care, Winter" Mom hugged me. "You too, Mom" I said. My eyes are really puffy right now. I cried my way to the airport, I'm such a goddamn mess. I hugged everyone for the last time and checked in.

Luckily, I sat somewhere really near the boarding gate. I decided to call Gerald, "Hi Gerald" I said on the line and cleared my throat. "Hey, Winter! Oh and by the way see you later!" he said, his excitement can be heard from his voice.

"Yeah! See you in three hours and twenty minutes, I guess" I let out a small chuckle. "Sure! I'll pick you up alright?" he said. "Yup, see you soon!" I said, getting my boarding pass ready.

"See you soon! Take care, love you" Gerald said and ended the call. After for a while, the boarding gate has opened. I stood up and made it to the line. That's when I noticed, we're just so few.

They scanned my boarding pass and stuff, and got on the plane really quick. I placed my luggage in the bin, and sat down on my seat. Good thing, I'm near the cockpit again.

See you again, Texas.

Do you ever just feel really sleepy after balling your eyes out? Yeah? Because same, it's literally happening to me right now. While the passengers got in the plane, I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

I woke up to the pilot's announcement. I'm in New York. Hold up, that was three hours? The plane stopped moving. I stood up from my seat and got my luggage from the bin. I got off the plane and got our temperature checked.

I was lowkey expecting to have that long shit inside my nose but I guess not. After for a few minutes, doing airport business and stuff. I walked myself out of the terminal. There I saw, Gerald standing. He waved at me, and started running towards my direction.
