I took a break from work since the finals came. I've been studying up all night reading and reviewing. I just want to graduate. Yesterday was the last day of the test, thank God and the Heavens the things I have studied showed up, I hate tests like they scare me a lot.

Today's the last day of school. Finally, summer break once again. I hummed as I joined the class, "Hello everyone" Professor said. "I'll be checking the attendance, please turn on your cameras and respond if your name's called." He instructed. I looked at myself in the mirror for the last time and turned on my camera.

He started to call names, I waited for him to call mine. "Winterrose Easton?" He said. I unmuted my mic, "Here" I mumbled. He looked at the camera, "Alright, thanks for that. Congratulations by the way" he smiled and continued to call other names.

After that he proceeded to announce few things and did some little orientation with lessons about life and stuff like that. I doodled in my notebook getting bored.

Few minutes passed and I left the meeting. I got on my feet and plopped myself down the bed. I stared at the ceiling and stretched my limbs. I ran my fingers through my hair repeatedly. An idea popped inside my mind.

I've decided to walk around the neighborhood today. I barely go out these days, I should go out and have some quality time with myself. Somewhere that's not my place. I stood up from my bed and entered the bathroom.

I undressed myself and turned on the shower. After for about thirty minutes, I finished taking a shower and proceeded to do my usual routine. I decided to curl my mid-back length hair. I applied make up and the most important part? Cologne, or perfume whatever you want to call it.

I finished and got out of the bathroom, I wore my cute top and paired it with some denim jeans. I wore my mask and got out of my apartment. I started to walk around the neighborhood.

I also bought myself a goldfish, I wanted to get a cat but knowing the struggles and hardships of owning one made me change my mind. Plus I'm always outside and they'll be lonely.

I stopped walking as I noticed the stoplights turned green. I felt someone stood next to me. I didn't mind and waited for the light to turn red. I counted as I was bored. I stopped at thirty and crossed the road. The person beside me walked faster than me, I looked at them. I gasped when that person looked familiar.

That hair, shoulders, the height. Don't tell me he's here and he's back. I quickened my pace and matched mine with them. I still couldn't see their face, we crossed the road together. I couldn't help it and tapped his shoulder with my fingers lightly.

"A-Apollo?" I asked, the person looked at me. I let out a sigh, it's a middle aged looking man. "Excuse me?" He stopped and raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry you got the wrong person" he said and walked away. I scratched my head, I thought it was him. I really did.

I continued to walk, I put my hands in my pocket. The hill popped in my mind, I walked myself there without thinking twice. After for a while I reached the hill. The nostalgic feeling hit me hard as I saw the logs that was used before, there were still ashes left. I sat on the bench and placed my things down.

I closed my eyes as the sun hit my face. This place is indeed peaceful, the view and the trees made the atmosphere a lot better. I sat there alone and watched the sun setting. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I should bring Gerald here sometime. He would love this place, I'm pretty sure.

Speaking of Gerald, we're not hanging out that much these past few weeks. He's probably busy with school and the coffee shop. Damn, how can he handle two things at once? I can't even relate. I decided to ring his phone, he answered it immediately.

"Hey babe" he greeted, followed by a grin. I rolled my eyes, "Hey Gerald, what's up?" I said and put my phone in loud speaker mode. I raised both of my legs and hugged my knees to myself. I rested my forehead on it,

"doing great, you?" He threw the question back to me, I put my head up and rested my chin on the back of my hands as they're resting on my knees. I looked at the view, "Absolutely great, kinda miss hanging out with you though" I let out a chuckle.

I heard his gasp from the other line, "Oh no, I miss you too. Wanna come over tomorrow?" He excitedly said. "That's a great idea!" I giggled like a little kid.

"Yeah! I'll pick you up after work 'kay?" He said. "Cool cool, is there anything you'd like me to bring?" I asked him.

"You better bring extra clothes, I don't want you to rummage through my closet again" he warned. I laughed when I had the flashback of me having ketchup all over my shirt and I had to borrow his shirt back in high school.

"Okay okay, I promise I'd bring this time. I can bring my whole closet for you" I joked and started playing with my hair. "That would be much better" he snapped.

"Anyway, see you tomorrow! Love you!" I smiled and tapped my screen, getting ready to end the call. "Yeah see you, love ya too!" He said and I ended the call.

The sun set really fast and the moon got up and shined like a light bulb in the dark sky.

I looked up to the sky and stared at it, it got chilly, too. I closed my eyes as the wind brushed against my skin. My hair started to go with it, I opened my eyes once again, letting out a huge sigh.

"Do you ever miss someone so bad that strangers in the streets started to look like them?" I mumbled.
