(Re-post)
I stand in front of the mirror,
A drop of tear wets my cheeks,
For I remember, yet again,
How close we used to be.
I sit with my family each day,
And yet a tear escapes my eye,
As I recollect once more,
The fun days we had spent.
I lay on my bed every night,
And a gush of tears flood my eyes,
I let it out; I let ALL out, when
I re-live the best moments we had.
Quite a space separates us now,
While it's been years since we've met,
A smile tugs my lips as I get your call,
And trust me, it always makes my day.
Your crazy nicknames and stupid faces,
Your endless snaps and my giggles,
My denial for voice messages,
While your forever stubbornness.
I wonder, what great deeds I'd done,
For I have an angel as my best friend.
A smile creeps up my lips as I,
I realize how apart yet close we are,
How apart yet close we are..............
