*Tori’s POV*

I used my last strength to tell Niall what happened. He looked a t me, obviously too scared to response. The last thing I remember is that I fell in his arms and his voice was screaming my name.

I am lying on a bed, I can hear the outside world; but my eyes are still too tired to open.

“Niall! What happened?” I heard Harry’s voice saying.

“Harry! Thanks God you’re here!” Niall said, “I don’t know what happened either. She just appears at my door and said…”

“What did she said?”

“She said her father killed her mother…” Before Niall finish, someone entered the room.

“Mr. Horan? Did you call the police?”

“Yes, I did.”

“So you’re the one who told us someone was trying to hurt Ms Potts?”

“Cecilia Potts, yes.”

“Well, we found her. She wasn’t dead, but seriously hurt and is now at the ICU.”

“Ummm…what about the man? Did you have him?”

“We can’t find him at the moment,” that man paused, I think he is a detective. “Did she wake up?”

“Not yet…”

“Okay then, I will come back when she gets better.”

“Okay thanks; wish you have a good night.”

The police left. But I want to know more! What happen to my mother? Is she okay now? Will she live? I have so many questions in my head that I want to ask, but I can’t even move. My body is not under my control.

“So…she has any friends?” Harry asked.

“Yes! I should call Sky…” Niall whispered scream.

A while later, someone barged in. But it’s not Sky. “Hey boys! How’s she?” It’s Uncle Simon’s voice! Why would he be here?

“Why are you here?” Niall asked with surprise in his voice, like he can read my mind.

“Some hospital guy called me and said Cecilia was hurt. So I am here to see her.”

“Is she OK now?” Harry asked, like he can read my mind as well.

“She is still at the ICU,” he paused “How could he do this! That’s her daughter and someone he says he loves!” Simon said angrily, as if he’s about to kill someone.

They chatted a bit before Simon and Harry have to leave. Niall stayed to take care of me. I feel his warm hand is holding my cold one.

“I’m sorry, but Sky is probably still too busy to pick up the phone. I guess…” Niall whispered to me with his soft, tired voice. He’s probably terrified by now. I mean, I went to his door with my messy clothes and blood is all over my sweater as I can remember; then I told him my father killed my mother. If I were in his place, I would absolutely be freaking out. “But I already left a message; she’ll be here as soon as possible. I promise.” He kissed my hand to comfort me; also to comfort him. “I told you I should walk you home…I should have insist on what I said. If I did, this will never happen! I am so sorry!” It’s not his fault! I want to tell him, but I am still too tired to open my eyes. “Tonight was supposed to be happy, now it’s a disaster…” he held my hand even tighter. He shouldn’t be blaming himself for this. He is not the one who did horrible thing. My father did! If anyone should feel sorry and shame, that would be my dad. Not this cutest Irish boy that I could ever meet in my live.
