"Hehe...I found you~" Depression purred with a smirk on his face. "Thomas can't be his true self without his intrusive thoughts and anxiety now can we?"

"Depression! Why are you doing this?!?"

I backed up after making that statement. He let out a laugh probably thinking that I was dumb not to know.

"Virgie I got tired of messing with you ya know, and you constantly hide because of all of the shame I put you in. Your miserable life is turning better surprisingly so I thought I can just...Screw things up for you like old times!" He said trying to grab me in the process.

I dodged him and he got madder than he was before. He growled and turned into the shadow that he was in my nightmare. I quickly realized that it wasn't a dream at all but it was a warning from him. He headed straight for Remus. So I jumped on top of him to get him out of the way. Depression hit himself on a tree so it gave us some time to book it. I helped Remus up and we started to run for our lives. There was no way to sink to reality this time. Logan wouldn't be happy and they're recording for some reason. Dark thorns started to surround the path we're taking. Instead of just heading straight into it I took a sharp turn and hid behind a large tree. I was trying to ease my breathing as quietly as I couldn't but it was impossible to. I realized that I didn't see Remus anywhere near me.

"Fuck... I'm sorry Remus." I muttered to myself.

I heard shouting in the distance.

"The hell man! Let me go!!! We didn't fucking do anything!" Remus shouted.

I looked behind the tree to find him kicking and screaming in Depression's grip. I slowly got up and ran to them. I lunged at Depression before he could even hurt or harm Remus. I ended up getting pinned to the ground by my arms. I thrashed and squirmed in his grip. He only held me tighter causing me to yelp. All I could do was try to get Remus out of there. He was on the ground looking pissed off as it is so it was all I could do.

"Remus!!!  Get the hell out of here!" I shouted.

"Virgil--"

"Just run you dipshit!" I yelled again as my voice broke halfway.

He did as told hesitantly he got up and ran out of that forest leaving me behind. I looked up at Depression as he had a crazed and psychopathic grin on his face.

"Wow...about five years and you're still scared of me huh? It's fine you should be scared of me after all~"

"Stop...p-please..." I pleaded.

By a snap of his fingers, I passed out in his grip without another word I said.

"I'm sorry guys..."

_Remus's POV_

'Fuck! Nonononono! Damn it! He got Virgil! I must keep running for them I can't stop now!'

I sped through the forest hoping that he wasn't following me too. I had so many questions that I didn't even have time to even think about. I have to get to the light side's place they'll know what to do...right? I didn't know. I didn't care either they need my help but I knew I couldn't do it alone either. He protected me- No! He saved me from that monster so I have to repay him. I heard that there was a beast that was in the forest but it thought it was just a myth...hell I wish that's what it was. I kept running through the endless amount of forest. Once I finally make it I didn't bother to knock on their door so I kicked it open. Panting I saw them look at me in question.

"Remus? Have you ever heard of knocking? What do you want?" Roman questioned me.

"I- he-"

Patton being the caring father figure that he is came to me in worry.

"Kiddo? Breathe and go sit down on the couch ok? I'll get you some water." He said putting a gentle hand on my shoulder.

I was shaking out of what I saw as more thoughts came to mind. Patton came back with a water bottle. I opened it and drank some out of pure thirst. Logan came in and sat by Patton.

"Alright, Remus now please tell us what's wrong."

I gulped before responding to him.

"He took them! He took my family! Please tell me I'm going crazy!" I pleaded.

"Whoa, whoa there kiddo who took who?"

"Virgil said that his name is D-depression. Before he took him as well." I said wishing this was just some prank.

"Are you kidding me right now? He couldn't have. You're pulling my leg bro."

"I'm s-sorry Roman but this time I'm not."

They had a look of distraught written all over their faces. Roman looked angry. Patton looked like he was about to cry and Logan looked eager to see if this was a joke or not. Suddenly Logan stood up and looked at me.

"Remus I think you're right...this time at least," Logan said.

I had a look of confusion.

"What's that supposed to mean? Do you think I'm lying to you guys? Am you're problem?"

"Remus relax I'm saying about that legend that was told to us. That there was something in that forest."

"You mean that dark one? That looks scary." Patton added.

Logan only sighed softly and nodded.

"I don't believe it." Roman scoffed.

"My apologies Roman but he isn't lying. Besides the duke of all people isn't like this half of the time he's usually more chaotic than this."

I started to wonder if this was a good idea to crawl to them or not. Roman and Logan started to argue on whether or not it was real or not. I soon snapped once I heard Roman.

"How do you know that there is something in there? Huh?"

His pride was getting the best of him.

"CAN YOU BOTH SHUT THE FUCK UP! THAT MONSTROSITY TOOK MY FAMILY AND YOUR BOYFRIEND ROMAN! So believe it or not if we don't do something about this they might fade while Depression takes over and breaks Thomas down. Unless you want that to be my guest it just won't end pretty!"

They looked at me shocked before Roman came up to me.

"I know that you don't-" I said backing away.

I couldn't even say what I was going to say before he hugged me. I was surprised by his actions not knowing what to do.

"Bro it's ok. I know you're scared but so am I. If he took them let's go take them back ok?"

A tear came down my face slowly as a sad smile came across my face.

"Y-yeah let's save them," I said softly.

I hugged him back with confidence and a spark of hope slowly coming back to me.
