Chapter 2: Parenting

Yoongi's woken up by the sound of the alarm going off on his phone. He checked the time that read 8:00 o'clock and turn the alarm off. As he attempted to get up Jimin suddenly pull him down to cuddle up to his chest. He smile looking at Jimin who was trying to get him to go back to sleep.

"Baby I have to go make breakfast" Yoongi said to Jimin who was still snugged up to him. After many attempts Jimin finally let the older go knowing he
couldn't get him to go back to sleep.

Yoongi watch as the younger snuggle into the blanket and drift off to sleep again. He ran his finger through the younger hair. Yoongi always loved touching Jimin hair it was soft, a bit curly at the roots and smell like strawberry.

He got up from the couch and made his way into the kitchen. He stood there for about a minute or two deciding what to make for breakfast. He finally decided he'll make blueberry pancakes since it was his daughter and Jimin favorite. He also wanted to make a green smoothie for them so he grab the Blender and put grapes, kale, spinach, lettuce, and banana he didn't want the drink tasting bad since Yumin didn't like things that weren't sweet. After blending the substances he put the blender in the refrigerator to keep the smoothie cold.

After cooking and preparation he set up the plates on the marble Long Island with stacks of blueberry pancakes in front and a cup beside each plate.

Just when he was about to go upstairs to wake Yumin up, she start walking down the stairs stumbling a few times almost missing steps due to her still being half asleep. He quickly ran up to her grabbing the little girl in his arms afraid she'll fall with the way she was walking. She grab onto her father tightly and put her little hands around his neck while she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Did you have a nice dream princess" Yoongi ask his daughter while she nod her head in response. He puts Yumin in her high chair with her favorite pancakes in front of her and chocolate syrup on top.

"Princess when you finish eating we have to go dress you up and brush your teeth clean. How does that sound" the little girl just nodded her head to her father.

Jimin woke up from his sleep smelling a familiar scent coming from the kitchen. He knew that smell too well to not recognize it. "Did Yoongi cook blueberry pancakes" he mumbled to himself. He got up and walk straight to the kitchen seeing Yumin eating her food while playing on her iPad. Yoongi was sitting down with his laptop in front of him taking bites of his food.

Yoongi notice Jimin standing in the kitchen doorframe. " I made your favorite breakfast " he said looking at him.

"What made you decide that you wanted to be a chef today " Jimin asked walking towards Yumin giving her a kiss on the forehead. The little girl didn't even acknowledge Jimin kiss as her eyes were directed to her iPad.

" I wanted to do something for you and Yumin today plus you're always the one cooking so I decided I should do a little cooking of my own for my family" Yoongi replied.

Jimin pull out the chair beside Yoongi.
"That was thoughtful of you so thank you".

Jimin took a bite of his pancakes and soon let out a little moan to how good the food tasted.

Yoongi look up from his laptop seeing Jimin was enjoying the food " I knew they were good but you didn't have to moan in front of Yumin"
Jimin glared at Yoongi giving him the look that said just let me enjoy my food.

They finish eating their breakfast just when Jimin was getting orange juice Yoongi took the green smoothie out the refrigerator knowing the reaction he was going to get.

"Look babe I appreciate you trying to make us healthy but did you really have make green smoothie you know I hate it"

"Well you're in luck because I added two bananas so the taste won't be that bad. Jimin you should really start eating healthy we're raising a child and I don't want her eating unhealthy food"
