The nauseating exhilarating feeling that swirled in Todoroki's clouded mind was enough to drive him insane. There was no longer hope for others, himself, anyone. No more love. He didn't care anymore, there was no push for it. Hopelessness wasn't a feeling either. The sense of hate was gone too. It was just nothing. Nothing at all.
It was exactly midnight and his dad wasn't home yet. No one was. He was alone, like always.
Perfect. No one had to see him. Loneliness would aid him in his search for that final feeling. That was the feeling he wanted to feel even more of, more more more. And his sense of choices was gone now, as if there was only one last option for him and that pleased him. He couldn't think beyond himself anymore, not even of Midoriya.
He crept into his father's vacant dark room and dug through a few drawers till he found his phone. There was one last thing he wanted to do. One last thing he wanted to say. He had a voice and it would be heard.
He unlocked the phone and looked at the few notifications, most of them from the class group chat and surprisingly Midoriya. He didn't bother reading what Midoriya had said to him, he didn't want anyone or anything to change his mind.
He hadn't realized he was crying until he found he couldn't read the words on the screen due to the wateriness of his eyes. It was all blurred and hazy, in the lowly light like an obscured shape of writing. He couldn't tell which account he was even on, he just wanted to message someone.
That person being Midoriya, without even a care.
His writing was almost illegible as he typed a message and sent it, pocketing his phone when he was done. He whipped the tears from his eyes that dragged his emotions down. This was a seeking for happiness, he wouldn't spoil that adventure with tears. This was a happy moment, right? That feeling made him happy.

"What," Midoriya muttered to himself, as the message lit up his screen in the night. He'd been on a voice call with Uraraka secretly, late in the night. Iida was supposedly going to stay up with them, their goal was pulling an allnighter together over the facetime call. Iida fell asleep at about 10:30, leaving Uraraka and Midoriya up to the challenge.
"What happened?" Uraraka looked at him skeptically.
"Sorry, someone just messaged me. I'll look at it later." Midoriya swiped the strange notification away.
"No! Tell me what it says! Who's it from!" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Why are you looking at me like that," he giggled in a hush, trying not to let his mom hear him.
"Well who would be messaging you in the middle of the night?" she grinned, "DO IT!"
"Fine!" he whisper screamed through the mic. He went and found the notification, which led him to his email. The anonymous messages, "Oh I actually don't-" he paled.
"Don't what? Who is it?" Uraraka whined.
"I, I can't read it..."
"You're such a liar!" she giggled. Midoriya was busy trying to decipher the message.
"No I seriously can't, it's like they weren't looking at their phone when they said it..." he squinted.
"What do you mean?" Uraraka asked. Midoriya finally understood.
"Oh no," he sat straight up in his bed.
"What do you mean oh no?" she rose a brow.
"Crap crap crap," he got to his feet.
