"I am tired of seeing pretty people everywhere,"  Todoroki grumbled to himself.

"What was that?" Endeavor asked, his stern voice seeming to be annoyed by the interruption of silence.

"Nothing,"  Shoto sighed.

"You're distracted,"  Endeavor stated.

"I'm sorry, I'm focused now."  Shoto brushed his hair behind his ear.

"You better be."  Endeavor glowered.  They had been out 'walking' for their patrol.  It wasn't much of a patrol.  Endeavor didn't so much as raise a finger for the old woman who dropped her glasses in the middle of the street earlier.  Shoto had to go out there himself and pick them up for her before the people driving cars got impatient with her.  And the other time when Shoto had spotted someone riding off on a bike, and obvious thief as the owner of the bike tried running after them. Shoto had tried running off to help, it's what heroes do right?  But Endeavor held him back and told him the owner of the bike should have been more responsible in the first place if they didn't want to lose the bike.

Thankfully someone caught the thief.  Todoroki had seen a glimpse of Midoriya grabbing running out after the thief, with the use of his quirk for speed to gain upon him.  Midoriya was such a good person. He didn't even get mad at the thief.

"I saw a friend, I was wondering if I could go say hi?"  Shoto asked his dad?  Watching as Midoriya wheel the bike back to the owner with a precious grin on his face.

"What friend?" Endeavor questioned grumpily.

"Just... one of my classmates that's all."  Shoto sighed.  Endeavor must have spotted Midoriya because he seemed to get tense, and his flames that swarmed his body seemed to grow hotter.

"The Deku boy, right?"  his eyes narrowed, "the kid All Might seemed to favor..."

"Yeah..."

"No, we have a job to do."  Endeavor sneered.  Shoto looked at the floor.

"Right," he muttered.  Endeavor quicked their pace as if to put as much space between them and Midoriya as possible.  Shoto was rather disappointed Midoriya hadn't noticed them.  For once he wished his father's fame would do him good.

"Endeavor!"  a woman screamed after a good 15 minutes of silence. She ran at them with fear in her teary eyes. Her face was paled and frightened. Shoto could tell something had happened to panic her in such a way, "Endeavor thank goodness you're here!"

"What is it?"  Endeavor didn't seem remotely phased by her.

"M-my friend they're-"  she burst into tears, barely able to utter a single word.

"Spit it out."  Endeavor had his arms crossed, towering over her. The girl looked to be about Shoto's age and mortified.

"I-I-" her hands were shaking uncontrollably. Her pale blue eyes were watery and slightly bloodshot.

"Hey, it's ok," Shoto placed a hand on her shoulder calmly. She tensed at the touch, "what happened to your friend?"

"w-we were walking by Delmar's d-deli grocery and th-this man h-he-"  her voice hitched.  She nervously fingered the single pink streak in her hair, which rested in front of her pale face.

"And...?"  Shoto asked, softly.  He lightly squeezed her shoulder.

"The man pushed us into an alley, and t-took my friend's purse-"

"It's just a mugging Shoto, the police can deal with it." Endeavor grumbled.  Shoto ignored him, still looking into the girl's eyes.

"Where is your friend now?"  Shoto asked.
