The sun illuminated the curtain inside the bluish ward. Her eyes slowly fluttered open after almost a week from sleeping soundly. She coughed, gaining Winwin's attention.
"Woah slow, Younghee."
She flinched upon the headache that striked her in a click after she sat up. Winwin handed a mug of water.
"How long did I slept?"
Winwin smiled softly, reassuring her. "It's been about five days. It's okay you're still under our control safely."
Younghee heaved a sigh of relief. She set aside the mug, caressing her neck.
"It still linger around my mind, how the monster almost sent me to my mother's place. Only if I'm eligible enough to be accepted in heaven."
Winwin took her hand, getting rid of her purplish neck. "Don't you ever say that, you are worth it."
She smiled and immediately hugged the cute male infront of her tightly. "Thanks, Winwin."

Mark is still not aware of Younghee's news. He was placed at the other side of the room, all weak and tired.
"Hyuck... please it still hurts."
Haechan removed the yesterday's bandage to change it into the new one but the older male was getting rid of it.
"Stupid. You should be thankful you're still alive, what if you died on the spot?!" He punched Mark's arm, earning a groan from him.
"Whatever, just heal me. I am just worried of Younghee." He scratched his nape, slowly getting drawn into his daydream.
"Is she still sleeping?" Haechan looked up to him. "You want to visit?"
Mark snickered. "Only if I could."
Haechan got up, patting Mark's shoulder and immediately laid beside him. "You want to know something?"
Mark diverted his eyes to the younger male, shifted a bit. "What is that something?"
"Most of us experienced this soulmate things. One day, we'll eventually meet them too no matter what. But sometimes, sins and curse destroy the soulmate thingy, you know Taeyong's story?"
Mark furrowed his eyebrows, squinting his eyes. "How come I didn't know this?"
"Okay let me tell you. He actually had a soulmate, her name is Jieun. She's so pretty, warm-hearted and very soft. She's the water to the fire, which is Taeyong. One day, an incident killed her. It's all because of the soulmate bond, Taeyong was the one who should be killed and not her."
Mark's doe eyes started to show. He suddenly felt worried of Younghee. What if Younghee left him just like what Jieun did to Taeyong?
"But, I don't get that soulmate bond part?"
"Taeyong dreamed that Jieun was going to leave her for a better life, he even said that she told him it's a lesson for him to be more cautious in the future. Little did he knew, it's a sign because he couldn't treat her better, he couldn't make her sincerely happy. She was hurt."
Haechan's eyes looked glassy, he sucked his breath. Mark rubbed the younger male's back to soothe him.
"It's okay, Hyuck. She's up there, watching him and us from afar." Haechan nodded.
"I mean, I wasn't supposed to expose his old story but I just wanted to warn you. Please take care of her, Taeyong's incident also happened because his soulmate must be sacrificed because of his sins."
Mark widened his eyes, his mind suddenly playing all of the things he did since years ago. The same situation happened to Younghee, she's also a mafia. If that so, who's the one should be sacrificed if they really need to end like Taeyong's tragic story?
"By the way, Hyuck? Jieun will not get replaced?"
The said male shook his head. "He won't get any soulmate anymore, but he can date or be with someone who lost their soulmate too, I mean, the sacrifice thingy ya know."
"Did you get any hints for your soulmate?"
"She's a moon, cause I got sun tattoo on my left arm."
The soulmate bond and sign are always different on everyone. Mark and Younghee were connected through dreams, and that's confusing Mark.
Should he be comfortable or scared?

Jaehyun entered the ward only to meet the reading Younghee. He smiled, putting a box of chocolate on her lap.
"What, oh shit chocolate!" She excitedly opened the box. "Oh damn, white chocolate!"
Jaehyun adore her so much, there was a spark in his heart whenever he sees that smile of her. He giggled, caressing her hair softly.
"You like that? I didn't know, I just scrambled through the shop before." Younghee took a big bite of the thick white chocolate with almond and nougats. What a treat she just got this afternoon.
"Thanks, Jaehyun. You bought me an expensive brand, you are crazy."
"Nah, it's gucci. I like this chocolate too." Jaehyun also took a bite from the chocolate in her hands. "You bastard! How dare you."
He chuckled, ruffling her hair to make it more messier. She even looked cuter with that state.
"Thank you for saving my life. I might be dead-"
"Shhh, don't say that, remember Younghee you are loved. Heaven sent me to protect you that time."
She held her tears, softly moving closer to Jaehyun and leaned onto his broad shoulder. "Thank you so much. I appreciate that."
Jaehyun's eyes dilated, he didn't want to budge. He loved the warmth that radiated from her, he loved her soothing voice, he loved the smile she gave.
He is in love with someone's soulmate.
It felt wrong, but right at the same time.
