Percy's POV
"Is Annabeth okay?" I ask.
"Ummm. I think she may be a little overwhelmed." Piper responds. "Maybe come back tomorrow."
I nod in understanding. "Just...just tell her I'm sorry. If she wants me to stay away from her I will."
She looks at me in pity. We all wave goodbye. Jason winks at Piper and she blushes.
We walk in silence. "So dude. You and Piper huh?" I say smirking.
He slaps me. "Yeah." He says dreamily, "We are going out on a date. ...Oh my gosh I con't go out with someone like her. She won't like me."
I roll my eyes at him. "She clearly likes you. If she didn't why would she have said yes when you asked her out."
More silence. "I guess you're right. So what happened with Annabeth?"
I sigh. "Well, she kinda slipped and told me she likes me. I told her I like her. I kissed her and she ran away."
"No wonder." He mumbled.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"No, I think you just said something."
He grumbles something then looks me in the eyes, "No wonder she ran away. 1. She is in shock. 2. YOU KISSED HER WAY TO EARLY!!!"
I just stand there.
I'm so stupid.

Sorry it's extra short today. I still have to clean for tomorrow (Thanksgiving), help my dad put up the rest of our Christmas decor, and help my mom prep and cook food.
So yeah. I may not be able to update tomorrow. But I'll still try! (IDK why I wrote that here. I'm supposed to update the KOTLC one tomorrow.)
