Y/N and I walked up to Bokuto's front door hand in hand. The day was cloudy and chilly, my favorite weather.

"My stomach feels weird," Y/N mumbled, putting a hand to her stomach.

"Are you pregnant?"

She glared at me and I tried my best to keep a blank face. "Yes, because we've had sex."

I shushed her as we walked past someone on the sidewalk. "Baby, you can't just say that!" I whisper shouted.

"Then don't say I'm pregnant. I won't be pregnant for at least another five years."

"I want a girl first. Is there a way to make that happen?" I asked, running my thumb over her knuckles.

She gave me a curious side eye. "How are you saying that so casually?"

I shrugged. "I know more or less what I want. Why? Do you want a boy first? Or no kids at all?"

She squeezed my hand gently. "The idea of being pregnant sounds not fun. There's always adoption. But I guess I do want kids. And I do want a girl first, wait 3-5 years, then have a boy. Or boy/girl twins. But max is two kids."

"Great minds think alike."

"We both have to have jobs and be out of school before we even think about getting pregnant." She eyed me again. "Why are you smiling like that?"

"I like how you said 'we'."

She blushed slightly. She opened her mouth to say something before shaking her head and letting go of my hand. I pouted as she jogged up to Bokuto's door, rushing in as soon as it was opened. Bokuto gave me a confused look and pointed in her direction.

"She's blushing like a mad man, what'd you do?"

I shrugged, walking up the porch steps. "I mentioned kids."

"You guys are a weird couple," Bokuto said as he closed the door behind me. "Girls are outside."

"I'm happy for you and Laila," I said, patting his back.

"Thanks, 'Kaashi." He grinned at me. "Hopefully things keep going well for the four of us."

I nodded, opening the back door. The girls were passing around a soccer ball, which didn't surprise me. Y/N always mentioned she liked playing but nobody at school ever really played with her, and Laila is on the soccer team after all. Laila saw me and gave me a small wave before passing the ball back to Y/N.

"Hey, man. Your birthday's in two weeks," Bokuto said, handing me a warm cup of tea. I took the mug, blowing on it before sipping. "Did you want to do something?"

We sat down on the porch, watching our girlfriends playing around the yard. Now that I think about it, Y/N doesn't really have girl friends. There's Kiyoko and Amari, but they weren't that close, they just got along. Maybe Y/N will make good friends with Laila.

"Well luckily it'll be Y/N's weekend, so I'll be spending time with her. Other than that, I don't really have anything planned or in mind."

"We should have a party like we've been doing for our birthdays." He drummed his fingers on his mug. "Why don't we do that? It can be here since you had mine at yours. And you can go home to a quiet place with Y/N at the end of the night."

Even if I say no, I know those two will plan something. "Sure. Just nothing too big. And no gifts."

Bokuto pouted. "But you got me a gift. I doubt Y/N will agree to that."
