Chapter 4

your p.o.v

I walked out of the building, extremely tired. Last night I had a weird dream about volleyball. In the dream we were having a practice match against Nekoma, when their huge first year spiked the ball and hit me in the face. Suddenly I was on the floor, blood gushing from my nose and mouth. When I got up, nobody was around and all the exits were blocked, leaving me alone and trapped in the gym. Freaked me the hell out. I woke up in a cold sweat at 4:45 am according to my phone. I had decided to just get up, shower and change. I left a note in Kiyoko's bag saying that I got up and left so she wouldn't look for me.

It was now 6:30 and very few people were awake. Luckily the dining hall opened at 6, so I had somewhere to go. I wonder if Ennoshita's up.

6:34 am i'm fine. had some trouble sleeping so i got up 

 6:35 am i'll come get you and we'll go to the dining hall. sound good?

I put my phone back in my pocket and took the route that led to the building where the boys were staying. As I approached the entrance, Daichi and Ennoshita walked out. I tried my best to smile normally at them, but it was too much effort.

"That was a lame smile, Y/N," Ennoshita laughed. I rolled my eyes and flipped him off.

"Didn't you say she had trouble sleeping? Don't be so mean Chikara." Daichi pulled me in for a hug, mumbling a 'Good morning, kid'. Now I was the one laughing as Ennoshita's face reddened. Daichi pulled away, smiling widely. Ennoshita approached me, his face softening. He brought a hand to the back of my head, gently stroking my hair. He pecked my forehead and scanned my face.

"What's wrong? You look really tired and drained." 

I blinked at his question. "Nothing? I just had a weird dream. I couldn't really sleep after." 

He stuck his bottom lip out in thought and nodded. "Enlighten us while we walk." 

The three of us walked towards the dining hall as I explained my dream to them. Once I was finished, I scanned their faces for their reactions. They both looked like they were holding back laughter. 

"I know, it's stupid. It really scared me though."

Daichi let out a soft laugh before clearing his throat. "To be fair, Lev is intimidating on the court."

We entered the dining hall to see not many people were around. It wasn't even 7 yet, so for the next thirty minutes, it was going to stay this way. 

"Y/N, go sit down. I'll grab you some okayu," Ennoshita said to me. I nodded and made my way to a table by the windows. I sat down and let my head rest on the table.

Daichi and I walked to where Y/N was sitting. I sat next to her and put the okayu in front of her, nudging her side so she'd eat. Daichi sat across from me, a confused look on his face as he looked at her. I moved the hair covering her face and saw her eyes were closed, soft snores leaving her mouth. Of course.
