"You look cute."
I told Lisa as soon as she stepped out of her room, my eyes literally scanned her from head to toe. She's wearing an oversized pink sweater, ripped denim stubbies, white sneakers and adding much to her cutesy vibe is her half bun hairstyle.
"I-I didn't know what to wear, I just grabbed whatever I-I feel would be appropriate for the location."
There she is again, stuttering. Is she nervous? And that "appropriate for the location" though? What's with the professionalism, Pranpriya M? What can I actually do to make you feel comfortable? Maybe I can insert something that she loves to make her feel more confident.
"Let's take a picture with your polaroid. Did you bring it?"
"No."
She bit her lower lip then she started to play with her fingers. I smiled at her, held her hand then gently rubbed the back of it to reassure that everything's gonna be alright. She pursed her lips then took a sigh quietly.
"Lisa, it's gonna be alright. Go get your polaroid coz we'll start documenting our unforgettable moments today."
I winked at her, she nodded cutely then rushed herself back to get her camera. I just wanted her to feel relaxed and at ease, I want her to have fun — with me.
"I got it."
She's gasping for air probably coz of running, literally the cutest little girl alive. Her outfit really suits her, plus the camera that's hanging on her long and perfect neck, sums up the girl next door vibe, skux. She's smiling genuinely at me, both her cheeks are puffed up while her eyes are sparklingly expressing such pure joy.
"Lisa, you're like a walking cotton candy today."
Rosé was lazily standing at the front door, her long arms blocking our way out while teasingly raising her eyebrows up and down. This girl will never let a day pass without giving an unsolicited opinion to her best friend, how I love our maknaes' never ending arguments.
"No one asked for your opinion, yeah? Well, YOU look like a chipmunk every single day, every night, every minute and every second of your life," Lisa's smirking while sticking her tongue out.
"You look like you just got up from bed and forgot to wear shorts on your way out of your room!"
"You look like a fashion police officer that's about to get hit by a polaroid cam!" Lisa's signaling to hit Rosé with her cam.
"Hey, relax!" Jisoo interrupted the fighting scene that's happening right before my very eyes.
"Chu, thank God you came. I was about to bang their heads together by any second," I said while goofily glaring at our maknaes.
"No worries, zebra!" Jisoo smirked, Rosé and Lisa giggled while covering their mouths.
"Just coz I'm wearing black and white stripes doesn't mean I'm wearing ZEbra."
"Huh?" Chu's looking at me all fuzzy.
"I'm only wearing ZEunderware but not ZEbra right now," I winked at her.
"Disgusting, Jennie Kim! Please get out of the house now, just leave immediately before something bad might hit you," Jisoo's shaking her head while clenching her fist.
P and I were laughing while waving goodbye to Jisoo and Rosé. I used to call Lisa — P coz she was my little Pranpriya during trainee days before she's the Lalisa Manoban you know right now. I subtly held her hand, she paused for a second then sneakily gazed at me, I gave her a wink then continued walking like nothing happened.
