A/N:
Hello again my dear readers! :)
Here are a few things you should note before reading this chapter:
- This chapter might get a little spicy so if you're not into that you might want to skip a part at the end of the chapter :)
- Hogwarts staff & teachers are not as strict about House seperation and parties as they are in the book.
- The students have their own clothes they can wear outside of classes, even in the school.
- The Gryffindor Common Room has more couches & space in general than in the real story.
- In my AU there is a separate Gryffindor Tower that overviews the whole School.
- There are parts where specific songs play so when these parts come up I'd suggest you to listen to the songs mentioned at the same time while reading to fully immerse yourself in the scene! You will notice when as the songs will be written in bold letters.
Without further a do...
Here is the chapter "the party"
_______________________________________________________________________________
"A Party? " muttered Aline, her eyes springing up to the twins in excitement as she felt a rush shooting through her body. Neither her fellow Beauxbatons Students nor her strict teachers had ever arranged any kind of party - the only thing that came remotely close to that were their annual dances.
"You see the first of October Party is a tradition at Hogwarts because we Gryffindors surely do love the Spooky Season." The words rolled off George's tongue as if he had prepared them way in advance as if he was bracing for an advertisement.
"On a Monday?" inquired Aline while lifting and eyebrow at them starring in confusion.
"Indeed, today is a Monday Aline, very well observed, 10 points for Slytherin...", Fred sniggered, Aline punched him on the chest before he could continue, making him breath out sneering "...we knew that Beauxbatons was boring but this boring?"
George peeked at Aline; his face covered with fake pity as he pushed his bottom lip forward.
"Today evening after dinner, 10pm at the Gryffindor Common Room. You got it? Be there or be square."
The twins accompanied Aline as they strode back towards her Common Room, answering all her questions about the party, never dropping the grins on their faces.
Aline discovered that the staff and teachers did not care about parties or houses mingling in each other's Common Rooms as long as they would stay quiet and not bother the rest of the Hogwarts residents. They arrived at the steps leading to Aline's Common Room. The twins were already waving her goodbye when a final question shot through Aline's head.
"Wait! But...parties are loud...right? How would you even...." she began but Fred interrupted her before she could finish her sentence: "The Muffilatio spell." Aline instantly felt stupid asking the question as she slapped her hand onto her front. "Right."
Fred grinned at Aline while shouting: "Comes in handy sometimes." George punched him into the side. "See you later!" they screamed in unison and both ran off, chasing each other down the corridor. Aline rolled her eyes while scoffing and walking down the stone steps, happy that her necklace was around her neck again and excited for what was about to come.
