Hello, my dear readers!

I hope you're all doing well! As you may or may not have noticed, there hasn't been an update in quite some time. It was mainly due to me getting closer to exam season at University and opening a small little Harry Potter Shop selling Potions! :)

I'm not going to lie - I'm still writing this story for myself, and because of that, I don't want to rush the story or push myself to finish it asap. So I cannot promise you a new chapter every week and I do not expect you to stay - in the end, I write this for myself and cannot wait to show you where it goes and ends if you want to stay.

Thank you so, so much for reading, and here is the new chapter! <3

Don't forget to fave and comment! :)

Slumping on a rather uncomfortable stool, Aline stared up at the dark ebony adorned ceiling that was enlightened by the golden sunlight falling through the dust-covered window tracery in the Hogwarts library. She sighed and as she exhaled, a strand of her blonde hair flew off its original place and found its way onto her forehead.

Annoyed at this, she swiftly blew the strand off her face. Half an hour ago, the Hogwarts librarian Irma Pince had completely lost her wits when Aline showed her the blank space in "The Grand Atlas of the Wizarding World" where the words and letters had completely vanished off the ancient parchment.

"Minerva, this is thoroughly disturbing and has never happened in all of my 40 years in Hogwarts! Outrageous!", panted the librarian.

"Irma, there is no need to fly into a bate just because some mischievous students stole the words off a geographic atlas. No need to worry, while I will figure out how we advance, for the meantime please go back to your matters", McGonagall responded, holding a curled parchment in her hand, thumping the back of her hand softly in between words.

Before the librarian could respond, McGonagall turned around on her heel and paced towards Aline. Without hesitating, Aline got up off her stool and froze as McGonagall approached. When she stood in front of her, she merely stared at her, sighed deeply and spoke: "Mrs Grimaud, you may go. No further questions."

In a swift motion, Aline vanished out of the library, fast and determined, her mind rattling non-stop. Now her suspicions were unmistakably confirmed: Someone at Hogwarts was operating against her. Why or how she did not understand, but she made a mental note to herself that she would definitely be more cautious than ever about revealing too much about her background to strangers.

While standing inside the hallway, Aline's stomach growled at her furiously, clearly signalizing the lack of Lunch food in her belly. Thinking that she might just be able to quickly sneak into the Great Hall and grab a pastry the bell rang, signalizing the start of the next class.

Groaning and rolling her eyes, simultaneously, she whirled around and ran through the corridors, out of the castle towards her Care for Magical Creatures class where she would be greeted by her friends Kayla and Damien and the three of them would barely pay attention to Hagrid's teachings as Aline was clarifying why she wasn't at lunch and what had transpired.

Both Kayla and Damien seemed concerned, but Aline brushed them off, saying concern would not get them any further. At this Damien chuckled, ruffled through Aline's hair and whispered:

"Whatever you say, Ally, I'm always right there with you."

Kayla nodded grinningly, agreeing with Damien, saluting proudly in a ridiculous hand motion. The three of them had to contain their laughter but spent the remainder of the lesson attending to Hagrid's teachings carefully. A few times during the lesson Aline caught Damien staring a bit too obviously at Cedric, so she punched him into the sides, and he immediatley shook out of it.
