I could see a blurry bright light. I heard someone say ‘he’s waking up!’ but I didn’t recognise the voice. It was a white room. Bright lights, well not bright but they were bright for me as I had only just opened my eyes. I was in a hospital. Men and women in scrubs were all around me. ‘Hello Joshua.’ A man said. ‘You are in hospital at the present moment as you have just been in a car crash. Do you remember what happened?’ He asked. Of course I did. I lost control of the car. A man going at 90 miles per hour had hit the side of the car Katie was on and made the car lose control. We were spinning and I heard Katie scream and then it all went black. ‘Yes Doctor I do.’ I replied. ‘Okay then Joshua. That’s good then, your girlfriend’ I interrupted him ‘Fiancé! And where is she!!! I need her!’ I yelled. ‘Calm down please Joshua. She is in a stable condition, luckily you didn’t get harmed you were just unconscious for 2 weeks.’ He replied in his dreary voice. ‘Oh can I see her? And can I leave the hospital’ I asked. ‘Yes you can visit her and yes you can leave we just need to run a check of you and then you can leave. ‘He said. I nodded. The doctors completed their tests and I got discharged. I asked the doctors where Katie was and they sent me there. I sat in her room for hours waiting for her to wake up. Her mom dad and sister where sat with my crying. A week had past since I had woken up and I decided to take Amelia to go see Barbie Fairytopia: King of the Mushrooms like she asked me too. It kept her mind off Katie. When the film had finished we made our way to the hospital. Amelia sat with her mom and dad outside Katie’s room and I went and sat in the room.  Katie Began to stir. ‘She’s waking up!’ I said. Katie was looking around the room puzzled. ‘Katie I am so glad you have woken up, I was so worried. I love you’ I said, I got up and leaned into kiss her. She screamed. ‘HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!’ She screamed!! ‘ Who was this man?’ She was screaming and screaming. All of a sudden a bunch of people in scrubs ran in. One had a needle and stabbed Katie with it. Katie was knocked out for about 6 hours. I continued to stay sat in the room. She began to awake again. ‘Where am I?’ Katie yelled. I was puffy eyed from crying, she didn’t remember who I was. ‘Katie calm down. You are in hospital.’ I said ‘Who are you! Why are you in my hospital room? Where is my mom? Where is my dad? Where is Amelia!!’ At this point Katie was starting to yell. I pressed the button next to her bed. Mary Katie’s nurse ran in. ‘What is it Josh?’ she said.. ‘Mary, she doesn’t remember me?’ I replied starting to cry. ‘Hello Katie. My name is Mary and I am your nurse. Do you remember what happened?’ She asked Katie. ‘No?’ Katie replied. ‘Oh well you were in a car accident heading home. A man hit you at 90 miles per hour. The man died on the scene as he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. You are lucky to be alive. This is Josh, do you remember him?’ Mary asked. ‘No who the hell is he?! And where is my family!!’ Katie yelled. I left the room crying. ‘Katie please calm down.’ I hear Mary say as I left the room. I went over to Sienna and Charlie, Amelia was in the playroom. ‘She doesn’t remember me’ I broke down. I began to cry. ‘It will be fine mate, she will remember you Josh. How could she not?’ Charlie said. I sat down next to them. I had stopped crying but then I heard ‘OMG!! HE COULD OF KILLED ME!! I HATE HIM!!’ and then I stated again.’ Josh whats wrong?’ Amelia said coming over to me. She hugged me. ‘ Oh nothing beautiful. I’m just tired and hungry that’s why!’ I replied trying not to worry Amelia. ‘Okay then’ Amelia replied as she kissed me on the cheek.Mary ran out of the room and got Sienna, Charlie and Amelia. I was sat alone. I heard. ‘WHAT! He nearly killed me? How could I of love him?’ At that point Amelia ran out of the room crying. ‘Josh, Katie has changed, she’s not nice. She doesn’t love you anymore. That not possible. She loves you that’s not my big sister Josh.’ Amelia finally got out in a soppy voice. I had her on my knee. ‘Amelia don’t cry gorgeous.’ I was holding back my tears. ‘Katie isn’t very well at the moment and she will get better and she will love me and you again.’ I said. Amelia smiled. Sienna came out of Katie’s room. She mouthed. ‘Is she okay? And Are you?’ I nodded twice. Sienna smiled. ‘Oi Amelia why don’t you ask Josh nicely if he will go with you to buy some sweeties from downstairs.’ Sienna said. Winking at me. ‘Amelia should we go get some sweets?’ I asked. She nodded. Sienna handing me a $5 bill but I rejected it. ‘This is on me’ I mouthed. As I was leaving the hospital floor I heard Katie yell. ‘DAD YOU STUPID IDIOT I DON’T KNOW WHO THE HELL HE IS! WHY WAS HE IN MY ROOM HOLDING MY HAND!! WHY DO I HAVE THIS RING ON MY FINGER!!!’ Me and Amelia brought some sweets and a few magazines and walked back upstairs. We waited for hours then suddenly Mary came out. ‘Josh,Katie wants you!’ She said.
