After Todoroki's visit to Y/N, the final match of the tournament event between Bakugo and Todoroki begins. Todoroki makes his move first and attacks Bakugo with a huge pillar of ice, trying to end the fight quickly. However, Bakugo thaws himself out with an Explosion. After breaking out of Todoroki's ice, Bakugo uses some Explosions to somersault himself into the air. While in the air, Bakugo grabs Todoroki's hair and shirt and throws him onto the ground, but Todoroki creates an ice wall behind himself to prevent himself from being thrown out of the ring. Bakugo immediately attacks Shoto again with an Explosion. Todoroki dodges Bakugo's Explosion and he counters by throwing Bakugo into his ice wall while in the process throws himself out of harm's way.

However Bakugo was now pissed at Todoroki for not using his full power, telling him to not stand in front of him if he is not fighting to win. Bakugo prepares his next attack by jumping into the air and spinning himself around with two Explosions in his hands. As Bakugo makes his preparations, Todoroki is in deep thought of whether to use his left side or not; having trouble deciding if it is the right choice to use it. Todoroki admits to himself that since fighting Midoriya he is struggling with what to do and how he should proceed. Todoroki is confused and conflicted from his deep thinking.

"Keep fighting Todoroki!"

Todoroki decides to get his head in the game and activates his left side. After activating his left side, he remembers the trauma of his mother's reaction to his fire power and becomes disheartened, causing him to deactivate his fire power. Bakugo's preparations are complete and after gaining momentum for his explosions from spinning, attacks Todoroki with his move, Howitzer Impact, an explosive tornado that hits Todoroki.

'I'm sorry Y/N I'm not winning this one'

After the smoke clears, Todoroki is out of bounds, seemingly knocked out. A furious Bakugo walks to Todoroki and grabs him by his shirt, dissatisfied with his performance. However, Bakugo is knocked out by Midnight's perfume before he can do anything to Todoroki. Because he went out of bounds, Todoroki loses and Bakugo is declared the winner of the final match and tournament event as well as the winner of U.A.'s Freshmen Sports Festival.

Y/N's POV

Looking at the television, I saw that Todoroki had lost. I sighed and smiled.

"At least he tried," I said to myself. Then the door opened to reveal Shinsou.

"How are you holding up?"

"I'm doing a bit better now," I smiled.

"You got beaten up pretty badly, are you sure?" Shinsou asked sitting down on the chair next to my bed.

"Yea, I'm fine," I said. After a short pause I finally spoke up, "I don't know whether to feel sad or happy that I broke up with Bakugo."

"You should feel........ who am I kidding, I have no idea," He chuckled a bit making me laugh.

"I saw that Candycane lost against the asshole," Shinsou said looking up the TV. The nicknames made me smile but kinda reminded me of Bakugo.

"I know that face, forget about him," Shinsou said grabbing my hand. I looked up to meet his beautiful violet pools. The eyebags were a plus.

"Okay, I'll try."

"What are you gonna do now?"

"I kinda wanna see the end bit to congratulate Todoroki," I said.

"We could go right now," He said.

"But I can't in my state," I said. His back turned to me and he sat on the bed,"Piggyback?"

How could I deny a piggyback ride. It was painful but I wrapped my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck. His hand grabbed the back of my knees and he stood up.
