Summer was coming to an end.
The first day of school was tomorrow.

Lana was extremely happy this was her senior year.
She wasn't sure what to do after school, even though she had thought about it a lot.
She still couldn't think of anything that settled right with her.
So Lana would simply go with the flow for the meantime and she figured it would come to her when she was ready.

After everything that went down that summer constantly replaying in her head, It haunted her, waking and especially in her dreams.

Lana constantly had this gut feeling in her stomach that something was wrong, almost a feeling of impending doom, which would just constantly leave her anxiety ridden.
She had nightmares more often than not.

But She knew if she could go into a whole other dimension and come out in one piece, She could do anything.
Lana could face anything.

Friendwise, She didn't see Nancy and Jonathan much.
She was very sure they have a thing for each other.

But somehow Lana and Steve became closer.
His demeanor she could tell had changed as well after all this.
Steve wasn't so full of himself and well, to plainly put it, An Asshole.
He became more kind, still putting the tough and charismatic act on when needed (As in school)
But he didn't fool Lana.

Lana would ride by in her black 87 Ford Mustang Convertible, Reason as to why Her parents were never home.
Her parents jobs had them gone sometimes four weeks and sometimes for a month or even two.
They made more than enough money.
But they were kind people, I suppose.
Seeing as Lana and her parents never really connected, she still loved them.
They held a roof over her head and took care of her in their own sort of ways, which to Her, was at least something.
