010: All In Your Mind

"I'm seeing things Steve. Things way worse than a demogorgon."

Lana slowly opened her eyes and realized she was in her room.
She looked over to see a glass of water and a couple of Aspirin sitting next to her bedroom dresser.
Lana sat up and reached over, swallowing the pills.
She racked her brain to remember what happened last night.

She remembered dancing with Billy, Gavin pulling her away.
Lana wandered off at that point but all she could think about was Billy and looking into his ocean eyes.

She remembered then that Steve brought her home.
She would have to thank him later.

Lana changed out of her clothes from last night going to take a shower.
She could hear her dad talking downstairs as she climbed into the shower.
She took a deep breath and focused her mind on Jane and closed her eyes.

Lana was back in the void.
She looked down at her feet and looked back up searching for something.
Anything.

"Jane?"
She called, slowly stepped forward.

"You."
Lana stopped abruptly and looked around wildly.
She somehow knew that voice.
Lana felt cold inside.

"JANE!"
Lana yelled again, hoping she heard her.

"You."
The distorted voice called out again.
Lana felt the coldness trickling up her.
She suddenly saw black gooey vine like shapes coming from the water as she screamed out in fear.

Lana woke up and looked around wildly. She was still in the shower.

No vines.
No darkness.

She sighed, pressing her face against the side of the shower and letting her tears fall freely.
