My confession

I wake up in Makotos bed like always, the blanket overwhelms me. I turn to him, and tap him awake. He needed to tell me whatever it was he needed to tell me today. So naturally, I would wake him up early. He yawned when he woke up and his cheeks went pink when he saw me. "Heya, man. So what was it ya needed to tell me?" I asked.

Makoto looked at me for a while, his eyelids low and tired. He then smiled. "I guess I'll tel you." He sat up and stretched. He looked at me. I looked at him. "Cute.." I heard him mutter under his breath. My cheeks flushed pink when he said that. "J-Just get to the point.." I stammered. He giggled softly.

He moved closer to me, and gently put his hand on my thigh. I flinched at him doing that. "This is gonna be a lot to take in.. so.." Makoto trailed off. "Its fine if it's a secret, were friends, arent we?" I tilted my head. He paused and then smiled softly. "Yeah, I guess so.. but.. you see.." Makoto moved closer to me, our knees touching. I wasnt prepared for what he said next..

"Y/N, for the longest time, I've been in love with you." Makoto confessed. "Hehe.. a bit of a shocker huh? You never expected this from your childhood friend, did ya?" Makoto blushed. I could barely say anything, all that came out were weird noises. "I guess that means.. you like me to." Makoto looked away.

"A-Ah.. so, I'm that easy to find out?" I said scratching my hair. "Its.. weird, y'know. To know that your now-" I was interrupted by him.. slamming his lips onto mine. I kissed back of course, why wouldn't i? He hugged my waist, I just put my hand on his back. Makoto giggled into the kiss, so did i. We pulled away, and smiled at each other.

"Heh.. I love you.. Makoto." I breathed out putting my hand in his hair. "Me too.. I love you.. so much." Makoto cupped my cheek. Once again, we kissed. The next few minutes were just me and him kissing and giggling. He looked at me dreamily. "So.. how long did you like me?" I asked. "Ever since we met that day.. but of course, I didnt know until a few days ago." He answered.

"I didn't know either.. til we found Alter Ego. I was just looking at you, and then.." "You were looking at me?" Makoto questioned. "A-Ah! That came out wrong! I-" "No, it's okay, that's just really sweet.. aww... " Makoto cooed as he took one of my hair strings and twirled it. I laughed lowly. "Hahaha... I love you.." I said as I lazily fell onto him.

"I love you too.. baby.." Makoto said as he played with my hair. "You already gave me a nickname?" I looked at his face. "Yep.. let's stay like this for a while.. okay?" "Okay.." And thus, our relationship began.
