*Same Day*

11:45 P.M.

"That's how you do it, baby! My lil brotha was killing it on the floor. Couldn't nobody touch my brother! We killed that shit!" Sean said as he gave Terry some dap.

"Language, boy!" Mama Pam said hitting Sean.

"Mama, it's the truth. When Terry hit that basket, the whole crowd felt that rumble." Sean said trying to imitate Terry's winning shot.

The whole family came together to support Terry on his big win tonight. This whole day has been going very good. So good that we are thinking about announcing the pregnancy to the family.

Yes, when I said family that did include my brother and father. Of course, my mother was going to come, but I was iffy about those two. I prayed about it and decided to let them come. Hopefully, our day continues to be peaceful and joyful that's filled with love and happiness.

"Seeing on tv is great, but in person it's a whole different experience. I loved it." My mom said smiling as she took a sip of water. She's been smiling all day. I never seen her smile this much in years. I'm glad she's enjoying herself.

"Don't worry, Mama Sheila. When we get you settled, you're welcomed to come to any game you want." Terry said as he took a sip of wine.

I checked on the kids who were sitting between their Auntie Ashley and Papa Joe. Leslie, Terry and his siblings' half sister, couldn't make it to dinner due to a prior engagement. I'm glad she got a chance to make it to the game, although, she left a little bit early.

"Settled? Once Monday comes, we are out of here." My dad said chuckling as he took a couple sips of beer.

"Um, Brent, I think I'm going to move in with Brandy and Terry. Just to stay a little while. I want to catch up with my baby girl and get to know our grand babies." My mom said as she looked at him as she sat across the table between Sean and Mya. She told me earlier that she didn't want to sit by him. I wouldn't want him spoiling my dinner if I was her, either.

"Bullshit. You're my wife. You're coming with me. I ain't got time to be playing games." My dad said as he rolled his eyes.

"Um, what's usually good on the me—" Mya started to say as she tried to change the subject, but was interrupted by my father.

"Why are you staying with them? Huh? You see she already had her ex hiding in her house. She's a damn mess." My dad said chuckling a little as he wiped his mouth.

"Brent, you might want to slow ya roll. I've might just dunked with a ball, but I ain't too tired to dunk on that ass." Terry said sucking his teeth as he looked over to my dad.

"Let's not get disrespectful, Terry." Jack said as he threw the menu down and looked at Terry.

"Jack, your father is getting disrespectful with your sister who happens to be my wife. I'm not going for that shit again." Terry said as he grabbed the bottle of wine and poured some into his wine glass.

"You know, you think you got all these millions of dollars and all this other celebrity fame and status. You think you Mr. Big Shot, don't you? I hope Shaq dunk and beat the fuck out of you." Jack said popping his knuckles.

"Yo, my man, you wanna take this outside?" Sean said as he got up.

"Yo, what's up?" Jack said standing up.

"Hey, hey! You two. Cut it out." Daddy Joe said as he stood up.

"Jack, that was so disrespectful. That's your brother-in-law." My mom said shaking her head.
