~Brandy~
"Your love's a sword slicing gently through my body
Burn so sweet, blood boils when you speak
Makes me weak but I refuse to weep
Yet when I sleep I feel tears tricklin' down my cheek." Terry said rapping to his song "Hold Me" with Brian McKnight as he started dancing and pointed to Amilyan."Stay strong, pride telling me move on
My heart's fightin' me, forcin' me to hold on
Yours forever, fell for you beyond measure
Pure as ever, fazed by sins of treasure." Amilyan said in her cute little innocent voice as she danced with Terry and dropped the mic."That's my baby girl! She loves her daddy song." Terry said as he picked Amilyan up and kissed her.
"Yay, you guys did good!" I said clapping as I recorded them with the camera.
"I love that song, Mommy! Can we do it again?" Amilyan said as she kissed Terry's forehead.
"Um, lets save that energy, baby girl." I said as I giggling and ended the video.
Terry and I gave Amilyan an early Christmas gift, which is her karaoke station. Our baby girl loves singing around the house. We always say that she's an old woman growing up in a little girl's body.
"Did you enjoy it, sissy?" Amilyan asked as she ran to our baby girl, Aleah.
A lot has changed in the three years since we've moved to California.
Terry is now one of the biggest and hottest basketball player right now. Since we came in 1996, he's been on fire. Shortly after Terry proposed, we got married on Christmas Day. It was really beautiful. Terry doesn't know this, but although he thought our wedding night was magical, it wasn't. I don't want to talk about it right now. Just know that I was happy to be marrying the man of my dreams, but it was way deeper than that.
Aleah Danielle Hightower was born on my birthday. It's so funny. We were out celebrating the Lakers win with some of our celebrity friends when my water broke. It was right before I got to eat that delicious steak. I'll never forget it.
She is the most precious gift I could ever receive on my birthday. Amilyan acts like that's her own baby. She's the best big sister ever. She always wants to help out.
"Daddy and Mommy, can sissy and I go into our playroom and watch cartoons?"
Amilyan is so smart that she talks more than we all do. We know she's a smart three year old...that's for sure.
"Sure, baby girl. Let Mommy help you take her in there." I said as I carefully carried Aleah.
"Ok, Daddy?" Amilyan asked as she ran to Terry.
"Yes, my precious angel?"
"Can we play basketball later on?"
"Mily, baby, I don't know if I want you guys to play again. You scared Mommy half to death out there." I said as I turned around and held my chest. Amilyan scared me half to death when her and Terry were playing basketball. She fell backwards tryna to throw the basketball in the goal and hit her head. I thought I almost lost my baby girl.
"Baby, it's all good. She can wear her little bicycle helmet." Terry said laughing as he tickled Amilyan and carried her into the playroom.
"Baby, what are we going to do with your sister and daddy?" I asked shaking my head as I kissed Aleah.
