Once Grace finishes reading the letter and burns it tossing it into our fire place.
Flashback over.
A few weeks later.
"...Happy birthday to Kylee happy birthday to you," everyone sings. Kylee's big smile and happiness is what today is all about.
Majesty and I help Kylee blow out her candles.
"Happy birthday baby girl," I say and kiss her cheek.
"Thanks Daddy," she replies and grabs a handful of cake. "Here you go Daddy." Before I have a chance to pay attention to what she's doing she smashes cake into my face. Majesty and everyone else falls out laughing.
"Not even funny." I look at her in the eyes "Come here," I say as MJ turns to walk away.
"Oh no way," she yells and starts running. We're at a park she has plenty of room to run and hide.
"Ahhhhhh Mommy," Kylee yells running behind her. Her little legs don't get her far before she falls on her butt. She's only been walking for a couple weeks now. She first walked because her Mama had candy and she wanted some. If that doesn't describe my daughter I don't know what will.
Flashback.
"Mommy," Kylee calls trying to get her Mama to come her. "I want em' Mommy," she whines seeing Majesty eating Starburst.
"No you don't need any candy," Majesty replies and lays the candy on the coffee table in the corner. Kylee gets up on her two feet and walks to the Starburst not falling until she got the candy into her hand.
"Kylee, how did you... Oh my gosh you walked," Majesty yells with joy. "Mommy so proud of you!"
Flashback over.
I missed that very special moment because I was out with my boys at a party. Which I wish I would have just stayed my tail at home.
Flashback.
I let the girl continue to twerk on me and as the music slowed her twerking turned into grinding. I was a little tipsy I mean I had a difficult time dealing with all the craziness that been going on lately so I drunk a little.
The girl was fine I mean she had nothing on MJ but she was a pretty girl most of all she had a big butt bigger than Majesty's but MJ's is the perfect size not too big and not too small.
Majesty found out fast too she was so mad she kicked me out.
Flashback over.
This the first time I've seen her in about three weeks. Other than her walking around campus but she wouldn't even talk to me then. Today I guess she's putting on a front like everything is perfectly fine but I know Majesty like the back of my hand.
"Majesty," I say once it's just me and her sitting at the table without everyone else around. "I miss you."
"Nah you good," she replies about to get up and walk away.
"MJ I was drunk and stressed and it was just a dance it's not like I kissed her," I say and MJ's facial expression becomes angrier.
"Jeremiah it's not even about that you disrespected me. You'd kill me if I had my butt up on somebody twerking and grinding. You know what there is supposed to be a party tomorrow maybe I should go now that I think about," she replies.
"I wish you would," I say looking her dead in the eye.
"Oh so two can't play at that game? Because last I remember I always been good at games played them better than you if I remember correctly," she states and she's right. Back when we were younger MJ had a line of dudes waiting for me to mess up. Head cheerleader, the finest and smartest girl at the school. I'm saying she had athletes, nerds and every other type of dude wanting a piece of her. I mean I had/have it good I'm Jeremiah Jones but she... It's hard to explain.
Women slick man, they smart, fine and slick that's where us dudes mess up we not that smart. Women always a step a head of us always just a little wiser I can admit it. Their man may not be cheating he could just be thinking about it and they already know. That girl may really be just a friend but yo girl already know that b!tch like you. I'm starting think they read minds or something man, for real. To be honest I ain't planning on cheating on Majesty I ain't that damn stupid I just make stupid decisions sometimes.
"I'm sorry," I say and she shakes her head really getting up now.
"Nah no you not but you will be," she says and walks away.
